Update my fight record

Post by tommybrowne »

Hi, I recently had a fight in Mexico Tijuana on the 10th August. At the Escape Bar, Tijuana, Baja California Mexico. It was a super welterweight contest scheduled for 6 rounds.
My Opponent was Jose Alejandro Alonso from Mexico. Record 2-31-2
The fight was stopped at the start of round 3 as my opponent Alonso remained in his stool and did not come out of corner. The referee gave Alonso a eight count while he remained seated and waved the fight off.

Tommy Browne wins either round 2 or 3 by KO as Alonso was counted out.

OK Tommy. I'll do it, as soon as Craig Waller (NSW Authority) confirms it. Hopefully, you notified Authority you fought outside Australia. If not, I recommend you do so promptly.
Cheers

Ok thank you.
I have a scheduled fight in Singapore next month and already noted on boxrec. I don't understand why the Mexico fight wasn't listed. The promotion was a big under card and appeared to run professionally. I even had a full medical done prior to my fight with my bloods taken. The organizers told me it would take a few weeks to update but obviously still not done.

Baja California results tend to be slow forthcoming & some tend to be suspicious. I guess we'll just have to wait.
Still & no doubt will always remember of your brother's extremely sad life ending.

So what does that mean? Will this fight be put on boxrec? As it gives me points and increases my ranking.

Given Alejandro Alonso's record, I doubt it would enhance your record. I don't know whether result will ever be inserted without Commission's official documentation.
