He would need to jump on the plane yesterday and do his training in Britain ,
David Brophy had 12 days a managed to win so why Lucas needs in your opinion 7 weeks before the fight I can't understand
David Brophy , had time to train beforehand ,You did'nt take that fight, and travel on 12 days notice , plus the calibre of opponent there facing are miles apart . arriving 12-14 days in britain is what would be needed to acclimatize , and don't say it would'nt i've made the oz- britain trip perhaps 25-30 times . Take two weeks off and that leaves him 5 weeks to prepare not enough if he's out of shape , which he probably will be , which to be honest should'nt be the case for a full time pro boxer . Basicly if Eddie wants to drop it on an opponent he should pick an in form boxer from the states . Brown should get his ass into gear in case another offer comes and make sure he's ready .
If Brown was in shape it would'nt be a problem , 5 weeks , travel over and tone down easy peasy for an in shape fighter , but not enough to get fit , which i agree with you he should already be fit ,, plus to be honest he probably does'nt fancey his chances against whyte anyway , i think Whyte would destroy him
