Name the next bum that Wilder 'the bum beater' will fight next ?
Re: Name the next bum that Wilder 'the bum beater' will fight next ?
Sceptism is very appropriate when it comes to Wilder. He's been a pro about a decade and 40 fights, and Stiverne is arguably his best opponent.
Ward, on the other hand, had fought excellent opposition prior to Kov....

Fair enough. I'm in the group "I will wait until it is signed" and it looks like it is. Fantastic news. That will make 3 decent HW championship fights in one year. Son of Gonads?
"SOGgy will find a way out of the fight."
"SOGgy will fake an injury."
"I'll believe it when the round 1 bell rings."
"Krusher will destroy SOGgy."
Now replace SOGgy with Wilder and Krusher with Ortiz.

Looks like the next bum is Ortiz. He certainly will be on 11/5.

Whatever happens, don't let it be Stiverne

I'm confident your compatriot will contribute to that three ending up four. It is doubtless a promotional and financial fiasco but I reckon you and I might be grinning from ear to ear at the end unlike I venture to suggest, one Mr Michael HennessyKiwiRider wrote:Fair enough. I didn't want to say 4 HW barnstormer fights for 2017 because it is the key to the troll cage, and I don't have the time, patience and hand puppets to bother explaining why

I get that Kiwi but as a Pom I can get away with appreciating Parker immune from any charge of nationalistic fervour or bias ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

This is your thread, but I absolutely made a mockery of every single one of your claims by studiously researching the subject matter, unlike you, who prematurely drew a derogatory opinion based on nothing but pure gut instinct.
For the record, here’s what I wrote twelve days ago…
BoxRec has already confirmed the information that I have posted above.Enlightened-One wrote:Bermane Stiverne has supposedly agreed to step-aside to allow Deontay Wilder to face Luis Ortiz (with the Cuban rated 5th by The Ring and 3rd by ESPN) with the proposed bout taking place on the 4th November at the Brooklyn’s Barclays Centre, which will be televised by Showtime.
Apparently Stiverne has verbally confirmed his concession to step-aside (during a telephone interview) and has also agreed to appear on the undercard of the Wilder-Ortiz fight card, possibly to face Dominic Breazeale.
The fighter that emerges victorious from the Wilder-Ortiz WBC world title contest will be contractually bound to face Bermane Stiverne in their very next outing, assuming the Haitian doesn’t taste defeat in the meantime.
Assuming the Wilder-Ortiz bout comes to fruition, it would allow Anthony Joshua to retain ownership of both the IBF and WBA world titles. Unfortunately though, the Brit will have to wait for his chance to add the WBC strap to his collection (despite the eagerness of Mauricio Sulaiman for the Matchroom fighter to challenge for his organisation's title), because Stiverne is already ahead of AJ in the queue to compete for that belt.

Yep, you called itEnlightened-One wrote: BoxRec has already confirmed the information that I have posted above.
My Wilder induced pessimism waited until it was signed, and now here we are with yet another superb HW fight we have all been waiting for ( not necessarily Ortiz, but anyone decent) as Wilder has the opportunity to show us what he's got.
Exciting stuff!

And what if Stiverne loses? As far as I see he's most likely going to lose this fight.Enlightened-One wrote:apollo creed wrote:WOW! And not only that, younger, bigger, better stamina, better skills, I think there is pretty much nothing where Stiverne got the odds, perhaps chin, but I'm not even sure about that.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Yes, due to breazeales huge advantage in speed.
