Re: Loma vs Rigo
First interesting fight for rigo in many years and since Walters for Loma.
Re: Loma vs Rigo
Lomachenko will win a lopsided fight. Both are defensive masters, it's a wash there. Lomachenko is a FAR more dynamic offensive fighter, and when you add in the fact that he's the slightly bigger man naturally, and the fact that he's the younger man. He's got everything going for him coming into this.
He'll either stop Rigo later on in the fight or win a clear Unanimous decision with scores of like 118-108 or something like that.

I agree, and hope it will be a lucrative match for the both.gilgamesh wrote:Lomachenko will win a lopsided fight. Both are defensive masters, it's a wash there. Should certainly pay Rigo more than any of his fights except for Donaire I'd figure. Possibly more than Donaire, not sure.ValMar wrote:I agree, and hope it will be a lucrative match for the both.gilgamesh wrote:Lomachenko will win a lopsided fight. There's a good chance it'll be the career best payday for both. At least for now that is. Loma will probably go on to bigger paydays.
Re: Loma vs Rigo
I would like that you were right about this. Both of them are coming from not so wealthy countries. Honestly, I think that Rigo's chances to win would be very, very slim.gilgamesh wrote:Should certainly pay Rigo more than any of his fights except for Donaire I'd figure. Re: Loma vs Rigo
He'll do better than you two think. Loma is rightfully the favourite, but his output will go tremendously down and rigid will go up a bit.
Re: Loma vs Rigo
I'd welcome that. I'd like for it to be a more competitive fight than I imagine.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:He'll do better than you two think. Loma is rightfully the favourite, but his output will go tremendously down and rigid will go up a bit.
Re: Loma vs Rigo
Rigo's chin is not the best, he has passed his prime and he has to jump the two divisions.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:He'll do better than you two think. Loma is rightfully the favourite, but his output will go tremendously down and rigid will go up a bit.

Re: Loma vs Rigo
The weight is no big deal. He might be past his best, his chin is fine for Loma.ValMar wrote:Rigo's chin is not the best, he has passed his prime and he has to jump the two divisions.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:He'll do better than you two think. Sadly, the blowout would probably be more entertaining. Though I must say Lomas last few have bored me to tears .
Re: Loma vs Rigo
I wasn't bored by them, but I'm certainly not impressed with his stupid little tapping you on the top of the head move.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Sadly, the blowout would probably be more entertaining. Though I must say Lomas last few have bored me to tears .

I didn't finish the last two.gilgamesh wrote:I wasn't bored by them, but I'm certainly not impressed with his stupid little tapping you on the top of the head move.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Sadly, the blowout would probably be more entertaining. Though I must say Lomas last few have bored me to tears .
Re: Loma vs Rigo
Loma can fight like he wants to show off more than he wants to finish the job. The Russell fight was probably my favourite because he was all down to business that night...I hope it's the same here, though after the talking Rigo's side has done I have a feeling that Loma will start to clown if he's in control.
Re: Loma vs Rigo
I hope Rigo clips him early and it becomes a war of attrition.

I don't mind the clowning. I was a Whitaker fan, he fights similar to pea in that he's high volume and hard to hit, excellent body puncher.crusader wrote:Loma can fight like he wants to show off more than he wants to finish the job.
