Yeah. Both prime. One of the hardest puncher ever against one of the most athletic boxer ever. This match up was phenomenal.

Sad that calzaghe/jones never happened when joe was prime and 1 at sm and jones was prime and 1 at lh. This wouldve been an outstanding fight in terms of pure quality.

But, I can think of 150 fights since 1990 that are better.

Cuban normally win multiple gold medals (for obvious reasons). Yes, Olympic medalists do tend to be very good pro's, but there are exceptions e.g Audley Harrison, Henry Tillman, Solis, Tyrell Biggs.

I can think of a long list of top drawer boxers who didn't get Olympic medals and were all time greats.

Every thing that happens in Boxing isn't "The Best" or "Most Amazing" ever Jip. The sport has a LONGGGGGGG and decorated history.

It's a good fight. I kinda doubt it'll feel as if anything truly historically significant has taken place after it's over.
