GGG-tough fight vs Jacobs , Pirog KO Jacobs

Post by victor-romeo »

Do those two fights tell use anything or was Jacobs Illness a factor in his loss to Pirog, and recovery from illness reflected in tough fight he gave GGG?

I would answer, but I'm tired of all the speculating. We're only a few hours away from the showdown. Tonight's fight will speak for itself :OhYes: :box:

Victor, when good boxer meet anything can happen. Piroq was a strong puncher, build strong. He landed a excellent shot to the chin and that was the end. Jacobs a huge puncher himself, had he landed a clear punch to piroqs chin, what wouldve happened. They both could hurt each other.

Against GGG jacobs was in the shape of his life. Obvious, had he defeated gennady his name wouldve been all ober the place and his bank account wouldve been full with potential GGG II or canelo Match ups.

Yes it will answer some questions somethings wll be revealed, if GGG loses the question will be was it because he is getting old or he was over hyped.

Jacobs was green vs the awkward slickster in Pirog. GGG isn't quite that slick and looked to coast vs a peaked Jacobs.

I think you're all doing Pirog a disservice. He would've been the only fighter at 160 that would've been more than capable of beating GGG.

How? Pirog was awkward(in a good way) and slick. Yeah, his ability in close would've bothered GGG but it's worthless trying to speculate any more than that. Jacobs was green when they fought but Pirog would always be a style nightmare for most.

Because he was a super, clever, boxer puncher. It wasn't directed at you.

Yeah, few were more pumped than I when the fight was scheduled(Pirog-GGG). Real shame that it and Pirog's career had to be canceled. MW missed out on a classic that it needed at the time.
