Winning all twelve isn't enough when Adalaide Byrd is involved.diddy wrote:And THIS is why GGG was almost 1-2 to win the fight but +300 to win a decision....because this sh*t is rigged. He won 9 rounds, he needed 10, or 11.

I think Teddy is gonna stroke out on ESPN News.
Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
Golovkin won 116-112... Freakin' robbery, but a robbery was expected...
Golovkin retains all his belts. The Oscar people will probably want a rematch.. They younger man usually does better in the rematch because he saw all the veteran's tricks. The younger man is still maturing not aging and that's a big advantage to have.. But in this case GGG learned a lot about Canelo as well.
I thought Golovkin should just stick to the jab and boxing instead of trading and exchanging with a much younger and maybe faster opponent.. Triple-G has much better feet and movement and jab.. My strategy would have been boxing and jabbing from the opening bell -- and waiting more, and looking for clearer, cleaner, generally bigger openings for power shots... Don't stalk -- make Canelo come to you. That should have been the plan.

Decent fight. Hard to win going backwards. Canelo just didn't do enough fighting.

Don't suppose Byrd fucked up the two boxers corners like the judge in the recent Haskins title fight?
No?
Then she's just fornicating clueless.

Exactly...he had his moments but didn't do enough. His defense wasnt Mayweather level tight where he could deserve the fight with that type of limited output.pizzakid13 wrote:Decent fight. Hard to win going backwards. Canelo just didn't do enough fighting.

Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
I was surprised how much time Canelo spent on the ropes, as that's where he shouldn't be against Golovkin but he never seemed overly concerned with the power. Interesting that.pizzakid13 wrote:Decent fight. Hard to win going backwards. Canelo just didn't do enough fighting.

He's a tool and was rooting for Canelo because he iced him.Nightmare Roy wrote:Amir Khan saying it was close GGG by 1 round, he's been hit far too many times.
I had it for GGG by 4 rounds.

Hit the nail on the head, but she has previous.youngrell wrote:If you're gonna be corrupt and go against the obvious winner, why not go 115-113 to at least make it look remotely believable.
118-110 is just unbelievable. Feel for GGG.

I wish that would help. People have been calling for that for years and it's gone no where. Dana White doesn't like her, Bob Arum doesn't like her. She's still working. None of it matters because boxing is a corrupt sport with literal morons running it.Mighty Moose wrote:eff it, so mad I just emailed the Nevada State Athletic Commission demanding they ban her immediately

Despite being the aggressor and walking into a few shots i thought as a whole Golovkin's defense was better than Caneloscrusader wrote:Exactly...he had his moments but didn't do enough. Essentially, this was Sweet Pea v JCC all over again. Not quite that bad. But damned close.

Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
So Byrd gave only 4 & 7 to 3G, What the fornicate was Trella watching in the 7th then? He scored a draw and that's the swing round for him.
As for Morretti, everyone said he was shit, but he's the only one who saw it remotely correctly.
As for the last 3 all going to Canelo? Don't see it myself. Can't argue with 115-113, believe 116-112 was a correct & fair summing up.

Totally agree. This was a robbery.ALI wrote:GGG spends his whole boxing life preparing for this moment, at 36 he finally gets his wish, only to get robbed on the cards.
Boxing needs proper regulation, this sh*t is a black eye for the sport.
I'd be interested in what BHOP said to Oscar and he responded with a nod and whispered something to him...

Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
I'm surprised at how people think it was a great fight honestly. Have the standards dropped that far?
There were some good moments yeah but it was mostly one guy walking another down, dictating the pace and controlling him with a steady jab to his face.
Dan Rafael called it a slugfest. Dude, stop.

Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
My simple question is, do these kind of judges like byrd get illegal extra money or are they just too stupid tocorrectly judge a fight?
Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
I am not sure why we are all excited about this. We all knew this would happen. We should be happy that they did not give it to the red on the head like a dick on a dog prima dona.

Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
My first call was to a Mexican friend, who answered the phone, " I know, Canelo lost."
Mexico is ashamed at the moment, when they could have been proud of the fight that GingerHead put up in defeat. Total humiliation as a nation at the moment, and they know it.
