BJS vs Willie Monroe (Post fight)

Post by Biglid »

How disappointing was Willie Monroe , he had no plan B and a terrible plan A. Why when a boxer knows his opponent has stamina problems decides to throw very few punches and stands stock still for 10 seconds 3 or 4 times a round .In the words of Kris Kamara "unbelievable". I don't think GGG will be following these tactics later tonight. Congratulations BJS , you can only beat what is in front of you.

That was the worst fight i've had the displeasure of watching since Andy Lee vs BJ Saunders.

I hope someone just sparks BJS into retirement so i never end up sitting through another of his fights.

Seriously only managed the first round. I've came on here and saved myself some time. Either Canelo or GGG will stop him if they fight. Big if.

I think the Klitschko / Fury fight trumps it. If Hughie stinks up the place, perhaps we can categorically say that Irish Travellers (or their variants) are now really boring fighters.

I expected more from Saunders, but Willie did alot of running. Pretty hard to make a fight if the other guy is not willing to do his job.

It was pretty awful. Monroe had that deer in the headlight look throughout the fight. I'm surprised given he went balls-to-the-wall against GGG. He didn't even try against Saunders.

Saunders' trash talking deeply affected Monroe Jr. The American isn't psychology tough enough for this sport.

I predicted a comfortable victory for the Brit and he didn't disappoint,
