Round-by-Round: Golovkin vs. Canelo 1 - September 16, 2017
Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
Imo he won 7-9 rounds.....116-112 seems the most common
Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
It was not a fight that could have gone either way in my opinion.

...maybe they should start thinking about changing the venue?Blodhemn wrote:Guestion is: How does GGG win a rematch? Arguable that he won 11 rounds here, although I had it merely at 10, yet he still can't get it. He won't KO Canelo. How is he supposed to top that in a rematch? Answer is, he doesn't. Canelo will fight slightly better and get the decision next time out.

does any1 think CANELO beat GGG ?
Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
Canelo wins a rematch....we know he can last the distance and have his moments, and I think the judges would get it 'right'

Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
If they have a rematch, I'd see it the same as Lewis vs Holyfield, with the "robbed" fighter getting a decision a lot of people feel should have gone the other way.
Note: I had both LL/EH fights 116-113 Lewis, but all the big Lewis rounds in the 1st fight were much closer in the 2nd. He got the sway of the judges to fix the obvious wrong imo.

They'd get a little bit better of a kick back next time I'm sure.crusader wrote:Canelo wins a rematch....we know he can last the distance and have his moments, and I think the judges would get it 'right'

the MEXICANS buy the PPVs

And lose money? Not possible. Even GGG's handlers wouldn't want that.greg wrote:...maybe they should start thinking about changing the venue?Blodhemn wrote:Guestion is: How does GGG win a rematch? I paused a movie on a gambling racket to watch the fight. A good chance the movie turns out slightly less cliched than the fight. But this has turned into a waste of time. Time to shut this thing down.

Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
I guess that's the problem with this sport..it's been clear that the venue has been compromised and the officiating is bs, still both teams agreed to go for it ...and once the dust settles down, rematch in Nevada will look like the best business decision for all parties concerned..Blodhemn wrote:And lose money? Re: 3G v GingerHead RBR
We've been talking about Adelaide Byrd for years on this site. There isn't a single boxing fan that doesn't know her name and reputation. We shouldn't be familiar with judges' names. There is nobody in the boxing industry that doesn't know. Those that hire her do it for a reason. I would think that any fighter's camp, when hearing her name, would immediately protest. There is a reason she is allowed to judge fights & it isn't because she is known for being fair & impartial. I guarantee a little research would uncover a disturbing pattern. But no one cares that much.

I bet there's less corruption in that movie than in boxing!Blodhemn wrote:And lose money? Not possible.
