Simply, he should face Saunders, and unified (likely) MW division.
He earned much more money than he can spend for his life.
So, unification first, than retirement.

Disagree. At this point, take every penny that you can get.

People have squandered away bigger fortunes than Golovkin made tonight. They'll do the rematch.

Hopefully he gets another big payday. Maybe Cotto or something in December. We'll see.

I'm aware of that. I was just saying it wouldn't hurt him to make a few more big paydays. I figure Golovkin is smarter with his money than a lot of other fighters, but I don't know for sure.

Plus even if guys are fairly smart with their money you never know...a crooked manager, a bad investment, and next thing you know you're in financial trouble.

I can't disagree. Golovkin will take on the biggest fight possible. Most likely a rematch with Canelo. He'd have an easy time with Cotto though.

Yeah I figure he would. It'd be a good fight to take though. Big money, not a lot of risk.

If I was GGG, I would insist that the rematch not be in Las Vegas. Otherwise, I think GGG should fight Jermall Charlo.

I can't see canelo taking the rematch until this time next year again in the hope GGG will age he knows he lost that fight
