I'll have to watch it again sober but I gave it to Golovkin by two rounds at the very worst, I thought it was more 116-112 though.

Canelo didn't offer much going back besides a few flashy combos. Golovkin constantly pushed the pace of the fight and kept his jab constantly in Canelo's face. I noticed on a few occasions Golovkin landed an overhand right and the crowd were silent!

And lose money? Not possible. Even GGG's handlers wouldn't want that.

I paused a movie on a gambling racket to watch the fight. A good chance the movie turns out slightly less cliched than the fight. But this has turned into a waste of time. Time to shut this thing down.
I bet there's less corruption in that movie than in boxing! :-x
Gangster boss getting undermined then murdered, bookies getting shafted/raided/paying off dirty cops. Still a ways to go till it eclipses Vegas. :OhYes:

Don't worry guys, Bob Bennett of NSAC says no investigation necessary because he has full confidence in Adalaide Byrd. I'm so glad he cleared that up. I hope she gets some more high profile fights ASAP!

That's a typical commission response. Judges have virtually no accountability.....

BJS will be stoked with this result. He can now get fat for a year before stepping in with a B/C grade fighter.

Sounds dirty. Damned dirty, but not Vegas dirty. Imagine a Vegas crime movie. Damn dirty boxing promoter paying off damn dirty judges with damn dirty blood money. Also the character drama. The play-by-play man who beat his wife. The old washed-up boxing great (now color commentator) who keeps getting murdered in the ring. The promoter who, in between fixing fights, pays prostitutes to dildo his golden butthole. The other color commentator who made criminally bad rap. All these intertwined narratives lead up to the crescendo of the ultimate crime: killing the sport of boxing.

fornicate this sport. I'm done with it (until the next fight). :-x

Canelo wants a rest. If GGG is not injured, he and BJS can fight in December as planned.

Of course. If they investigate Byrd, they will learn about Bennet's cut. FBI is who needs to investigate, not NSAC crooks.

 this fight was so much closer than most the idiots on here claim. I think I had GGG up by 1 or 2 rounds, at the end, but I wasn't scoring the fight, I will score it when I get the chance to watch it again.

I had Alvarez controlling the first 1/3 of the fight, GGG game on strong in the middle rounds and it was tit for tat the last 1/3 of the fight.

Just a damn shame about that one scorecard, really kind of tainted the whole outcome. I'm fine with a draw, looking forward to the rematch.

There's no real reason to believe the rematch is gonna be on the level. We already saw this movie once already this year. Kov/Ward 1 and 2. If they'll f*ck ya over once, they'll f*ck ya over twice.

Next time Canelo will headbutt, and elbow GGG, and then be awarded a TKO victory when GGG wobbles slightly from an elbow.

Yeah, I feel if anyone deserved the nod it was GGG. I don't feel it was a robbery though and was fine with a draw. The 118-110 scorecard for Alvarez was disgraceful, that type of shit just shouldn't happen.

I had the fight 112-116 for GGG.

Canelo had hes moments in the fight. He was doing well when he boxed in the center of the ring. Too bad he doesn't have the stamina to do so for the whole fight.

How can anyone give round to fighter who only fights for the first minute of the round?

Byrd should be banned from boxing... She should not be able to even watch the fights at home from here on out

Rematch will make another pile of millions for the people involved so the motive for this robbery is pretty obvious :geek:

I watched it on Youtube the following morning. I thought it was a good fight with a couple of great rounds, but noticed it was Alvarez who ended those blistering exchanges first by backing away each time. I gave it to 3G by 4 rounds tbh.
