Makes less and less sense in light of the Byrd debacle and the NSAC defence of her. Why would the Board risk what's left of their reputation by ignoring a reasonable contractual provision by appointing Britain's most controversial ref? This is even more baffling when you consider that the Board is putting its neck on the line for a boxer who only just got his license back for a doping offence that has never been resolved. :maybe:

The bs last night made me think of this one.

Parker has to KO Hughie to win and I mean absolutely wipe him out.

Any slight flurry Hughie gets in and OConnor will wave it off. I think Hughie by stoppage is probably a good bet.

Hughie by Terry O'Connor is 6/1. Remember Peter Manfredo when filling in your betting slip.

Fury just neess to throw a flurry in the late rounds and Terry O Connor will 'save' Parker from further punishment.

It was the first thing that came to mind when they announced the ref.
Who knows if Fury has a flurry left in him by the later rounds though?
He has been ten, but not for ages.
Parker works hard and is training to fight small. I see Fury gassing out.
