We're not having a discussion about the unknowable, such as religion, you should be able to fûckîng prove your bûllshît accusation, if you're convinced about the accuracy of your theory!

Either man up or man down. What's it gonna be kid?

You made the fictitious accusation. The onus is on you to substantiate it.

I’m not moronic enough to attempt to find something that has never existed.

It’s abundantly clear that you talked the talk, but you can’t walk the walk!

I have yet to see the fight, so I will refrain from bitching about the draw. One thing most of us got wrong though was Canelo winning if it went 12, at least we have that. A draw may be almost as bad if he did truly deserve it, but at least he didn't get a "L" that is impossible to erase.

The one thing most of us got right though is the 118-110 score.....one judge in Canelo's pocket like always.

I scored it 115-113 to GGG

I gave rds 2, 5, 10, 11, 12 to Canelo (4 of those rds were fairly close)

only rd 3 which I gave to GGG was close

I though GGG won rd 1 which all the judges favoured Canelo.

Overall a close fight, just the 110-118 was bizarre.

For sure, threads discussing fantasy fight are highly-popular on this forum (as there are loads of them), so my opinion is clearly in the minority. I hope that others can provide you with the sort of feedback you’re looking for.

That being said, I feel that boxing is one of those very few sports where fans rarely get to see “the best facing the best”, which is the main reason for my stance... since most of these discussions are about as realistic as the sort of events that take place in the Harry Potter series of novels.

I responded accordingly:

The post you have quoted above does not support your claim… and in fact, it actually proves that I am consistent with my opinions.

Like I said before, you made a derogatory claim that you cannot possibly substantiate, since it’s fictional in nature.

Simply put: I have never said that I “hate” threads covering fantasy fights.

We disagree a fair bit on some rounds. I had it 116-112 to GGG and thought the rounds Canelo won were the 2nd, 3rd, 8th and 12th. I thought GGG won the 5th clearly and edged the 10th and 11th.

You have no inclination to speak about fights that won't happen however. Unless you do. That's basically it.

I don’t mean to be “arsey”, but the harsh environment of this forum compels my conduct to be aggressive in nature, since people often make false claims about me. When they’re subsequently proven to be incorrect, instead of apologising, they go on the offensive using juvenile name-calling.

When I make mistakes, I apologise. I can prove this to be the case. When others make mistakes, they barrage me with insults and then create threads requesting that I receive a permanent ban.

Here's another quote from you
None of these bouts have been scheduled and are extremely unlikely to happen in the short-term. So they shouldn’t be considered as “future fights”, since it’s highly-probable that most won’t take place… ever!

In terms of my personal favourite “future fight” that is likely to actually happen in the real-world, it has to be Canelo-Golovkin.
Do say when ward golovkin or even more ludricous Canelo ward are likely to be made

I am only willing to argue with you about the following false claim that you made about me:
Ossyrules wrote:My thoughts... you always say you hate talking about fantasy match ups that never happen so why start now!
By your own admission, you were unable to substantiate it.

I have no appetite to engage in a separate debate about a completely different subject matter.

Admit it, you lost. You’re not entitled to another “shot at the title”, simply because you’re frustrated about being proven wrong.

1. Knew Canelo was going to run.
He ran all night.

2. GGG doesn't have great defense,
especially when he doesn't feel a threat coming back.
GGG's stalking always left himself open to big counters.
Canelo is good enough to land those punches,
but they were in the first 30 seconds of every round, and nothing else.

3. GGG blew the KO opportunity by not going to the body until the 5th.

4. Canelo is not a total bum, but his boxing skills are worst than Jacobs.
He was able to land the same counters and avoid the right the same way,
because of GGG's clear flaws, that get masked by his amazing power.

5. Canelo proves again he is better than the Daniel Geale's of the world,
but he isn't BETTER than the Jacobs and Lara and the Trouts of the boxing world.
Nothing wrong with that.

Watched it again. 3G won the fight. In order to get to a draw you would literally have to give every remotely close round. The only way to make it close was to heavily weigh everything that GingerHead did and discount what 3G did.

GingrHead landed crisp shots but nowhere near as many as 3G. His shots also had less effect, by a longshot. The argument by the talking heads that GingerHead came on late is true, except for the fact that 3G answered and surpassed him in two of those final three rounds.

Furthermore, the first three rounds were not a clean sweep by any means. They were very close, the clearest going to GingerHead in the 2nd, but 3G held the advantage in round 1, imo, and 3 was very close.

There were only five absolutely clear rounds and 3G won four of those. Four of the seven competitive rounds were pretty clearly 3G's.

Second viewing I had it 116-112:

3G (close)
GingerHead
GingerHead (very close)
3G
3G (fairly close)
3G (fairly close)
3G
3G
3G (close)
3G (clearest round of the fight)
GingerHead (close)
GingerHead (extremely close)

Last night I had it 117-111 3G realtime.

Bad decision, decent fight. Canelo surprisingly got the better of the exchanges, but I guess he was running for a reason. Yet another boxing ppv not worth the money.

That scoring is very similar to mine. I only watched it once. I scored round 3 to Golovkin and round 2 even.
