Great point...I forgot all about her. Her public shaming after giving Canelo a draw vs Floyd actually led to her retirement.

That was the first time in the many decades I've followed sports that I have ever seen a sports official step down from their position because of public outcry about bad officiating!!

A tremendous victory for boxing fans who used the power of public outrage to have a positive affect on their sport by essentially firing a crooked official. It all unfolded in less than a week!!

C.J. Ross, the embattled boxing judge whose draw scorecard from Saturday night's Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Saul "Canelo" Alvarez junior middleweight championship fight ignited a firestorm of controversy, has stepped down.

Ross, 64, of Las Vegas, sent Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Keith Kizer an email on Tuesday saying that she would step away from the sport she has judged for more than 20 years.

oh it's time for Adelaide Byrd to retire too. Her husband is a good refree, she's a terrible judge.

You know why ross disliked floyd and had the draw. Because floyd is a sexist, degrades women to toys. Of course do outside women hate that atitude.

Ross wouldve gave the win to canelo had she judges the ggg can figjt. Floyd won 10 oit of 12 rds and she had it even hahaha....so imagine a fight a bit closer like ggg can. Ross and byrd wouldve made canelo victorious against ggg and not only that. But the scores would have been canelo by a margin.

Beg to differ about Ross voting against Floyd because of his treatment of women. She's just incompetent and had Tim Bradley beating Manny Pacquiao as well. Pac never mistreated women like Floyd did but she robbed Pac too. That's just incompetence and it's good she retired because of it!!

I agree 100% but had no idea that Adelaide Byrd is Robert Byrd's wife. Thanks for the insight...
