And the Furies didn't realise that it was Botha, so it's a good job for Peter that he stayed put.
I thought it looked like Botha, couldnt remember his name though. Botha was calling out another boxer on the BIBA facebook page a few months ago, Botha is still fighting I believe.

It's all a load of gumpf to flog the fight.
"Ooh, it's lucky they didn't realise it was Frans Botha!"
"Ooh Peter is such a bad man gangster he could have Frans Botha in a boot in 5 minutes!"

Pathetic.

I'd have paid £15 for the GGG fight on YouTube in a heartbeat. For this, £10 was taking the piss already and I hope Hennessy and the Furys learn a hard lesson that they might be able to beat us all up but they can't jerk us around. War Parker, but I won't be watching it.

So do I. Most fights, unless it Mayweather or Joshua or something like GGG vs Canelo, I can get them on my phone. All the time. My computer is broken and I can't afford another one: if I couldn't stream on my phone I'd be screwed.
I have iPhone and iPad! I'm in my own flat during week just now and I don't have wifi! I need to use my personal hotspot to get on iPad to post on here!
If you've got 4g you can get it, mate!

That's not exactly what I said. Of course it was a sales pitch, but they didn't recognise Botha if you believe Hughie's description of him. My comment's not really about this hoohah but the Furies' apparent lack of knowledge of recentish heavyweight history. What if Frans wasn't on script or something? Could happen.

I'm just craving some entertainment after what feels like a year-long buildup. Get Ric Flair in for some pointers or summat.

It wasn't really a dig at you to be honest. They finally resorted to "beef"

"Beef" only works if you've got a genuine nutter like Chisora on board. The rest of the time it's embarrassing and in this case it's clearly a last ditch attempt to drum up some interest. I have to admit, this fight is actually getting plenty of attention on boxrec but more in the way you can't help but slow down to check out a car crash.

Mate!
Not only is that hilaroius, but it is the best summation of this fight I have read this far.
10/10 with merit for humour

Huggie isn't winning . He is going to be flopping around on the floor gasping for air like a fish out of water.

With even meaty Mick admitting ticket sales could be better, has anyone heard or seen of any 11th hour discounted ticket deals ? I'd be willing to fill a cheap seat for £20

As much as I take the piss out of it, I'd go if it was in London. You're certainly going to get a good view and it's not like there's going to a massive queue at the bar. I have a load of casual mates who are always up for any boxing so long as I can get tickets. Easy night out sorted.

I'm not going to Manchester, though.

I put on FB it was absolutely ridiculous to hold it there the minute the announcement was made, it makes you wonder what they're even thinking.

Knowing Hennessy, he'll probably try to raise ticket prices at the 11th hour as a way of recouping his losses

For me it's not a PPV fight full stop, but I think they've might to ok if people got change from a tenner, £15 is just silly money IMO

One thing to consider is that this is available on youtube Ppv Worldwide. There may well be hardcore fans in countries where this isn't televised who are quite happy to pick this up.

It's on TV here in the states and it's more expensive. I'd be shocked if it did over 200 buys.
