Trouble at the Copperbox

Post by FightFanPlan »

Hello,

Was at the BJS fight last night. The crowd had been in good spirits all night, remarkable considering the late night.

But around round 6 it all kicked off, seemed to be between Billy's fans next to the ring walk platform. Not seen anything on Twitter but people were saying it was a woman getting hit by a bloke that started it.

Wonder if it got picked up by the cameras? It all settled down after a couple of minutes.

Given BJS fans and followers it's hardly a big surprise

Why would you still be videoing when its basically on top of you? Even if your not a fighter yourself surely you'd want both hands free of your phone to defend yourself?

This is not surprising! BJS is a massive breast and I'd imagine anyone who follows him is cut from the same horrible cloth! Don't like the guy at all and his followers probably shag copious amounts of cattle :maybe:

I'm surprised at you.

You'd think FW would be having a proper word with Billy, scenes like that must put potential ticket buyers off massively.

Eddie best get on to Crolla then because I 100% guarantee there'll be a 100 times worse at the Burns fight. They're all Man U, they don't even know him.

Obviously I could no question.....

To be perfectly honest I don't get videoing it at all, but I am a hypocrite as I will then go searching around youtube as soon as someone posts that there was trouble :OhYes:

It seems every copperbox show the main event starts way too late, this is without doubt a contributory factor. Get it on 10.00 sharp whilst the punters are still fresh.

Have to say the only trouble I've seen at a fight was the original fury v chisora rematch which got called off and BJS headlined instead. In fairness it wasn't his fans the gypsies were all well behaved even in town.

It kicked off between about 20 of heffrons fans and another group of his opponents fans I went into the concorse for a beer and when I walked back round there corner the were people laid out all over the place.
