Honestly would not be surprised with a similar outcome as the first. Haye does ok but is too ring-rusty and old to land his bombs on Bellew, who out-manoevres him for 4-6 rounds then pounces when Haye's body starts breaking down e.g. shoulder, achilles, toe whatever goes this time.

Was genuinely surprised to hear this was happening, seeing a rematch for his comeback fight is pretty gutsy for Haye so I hope he can pull it off with a big win and prove he still has a little left in the tank to go out on a high.

Saying that it just seems too soon after such a serious injury, recovery and rehab should have taken longer then this to be back at 100%.
Wouldn't be surprised if it gets called off closer to time with a sudden injury being the reason for it being cancelled close to time.

If Haye actually makes it through camp injury free, and that's a huge if, he will win the rematch.

Then we'll get a rubber match in the spring......

I couldn't give a flying shit about the fight. Haye looked like a washed up has been (pre injury) and Bellew struggled to knock out a one legged man. I be more than happy, if the fight never happened.

I agree with everything you say, those are exactly my thoughts also. But if Haye can remain injury free he could win the rematch.
I reckon he would then try and get the Parker-Fury winner for the WBO belt. Just suppose Haye became WBO champion, that would make a Joshua-Haye unification contest a big deal in the U.K.
I know there are a lot of 'if's' in there but stranger things have happened.

I couldn't either.
Except for the fact Haye was injured and the win was not definitive and Bellew wouldn't shup up about winning it.
A real winner will put this to rest.
The Hayemaker has been a great fighter for Great Britan and I think he deserves one last chance to clear up this mess once and for all.

Fair point. I just found the fight massively underwhelming.

That is very true, both in the 'ifs' and stranger things happening, you only need to look at the scorecards at the weekend just gone to see strange things happening in boxing, but I have to agree with you a unification fight between Haye and Joshua would be a record setter in the UK by far.
Joshua - the model Heavyweight champion with the public behind him, and Haye - A master of self promotion and a well known British star as far as boxing is concerned.

Saying that though I would want to see Wilder meet the winner of Parker-Fury next and then a unification between Joshua and the winner of that fight, again that's assuming any of them are still champions when all is said and done.

Feb 4th is next date pencilled in for Boxing (Matchroom) out with this Sunday idea.

Hearn was mooting Sunday show - Brook as chief support.

I'm loathed to pay for it. Yes I want it to hapen but...
If Eddie can assemble a good undercard I might. Brook tickles my fancy, depending on who he is up against. If it's Khan, then I'm all in :box:

I like the fight on Sunday. Most of the big fights back in the day were on weekdays. I miss that.

Pre injury Haye was'nt losing but he looked terrible , the main thing with this fight is , summizing Haye comes through injury free , he needs to get with a trainer who is going to make him box correctly , not a yes man
