There are a lot of myths surrounding Jake LaMotta, the most obvious of which is that he took everything on his iron jaw. Watch a few of his fights and you will see a cute, punishing, immensely brave fighter who was not easy to tag. Jake LaMotta lived hard and he fought hard; he was something else.
