Why is it funny? Convince me and I may change my vote, which is allowable in the poll. I see a close fight and a hometown decision.

My bad. Was thinking about the originally scheduled fight where Hughie "hurt his back?"

Maybe I will change my vote to Hughie decision after all.

Parker needs a stoppage, because Fury is very mobile, fast hands, busy and has a decent technique, though I think his power is somewhat lacking. I also feel that Hughie spars with some really decent heavyweights, so he might be better than his record suggests.

The Kiwi deserves to be the betting favourite, due to his superior record, but if he can't hurt the Brit consistently, then he might drop a decision, due to being outworked.

For the record, Fury's fighting style isn't exactly my cup of tea, so i don't enjoy watching him fight, but I think it could be pretty effective against most of the top guys in the heavyweight division.

Fury by decision, but a lot of the guys from this forum will inevitably cry "corruption" or "robbery" and demand that Interpol investigate and imprison the judges. FFS!

We have seen the American judges recently.
So, we will see the British judges soon.

The nationality of the judges doesn't really matter as much as where the fight is. Do you really think corrupt judges are patriotic?

I'm surprised to see Hughie leading.

I think Hughie will win, no idea why, Parker is certainly way more proven, and I don't think either is that impressive.

If Parker doesn't stop or drop him 3 times - he will lose. The end.

One of the judges was supposed to be the referee but he was removed when Parker's team complained and they switched him to judge. 3 kds probably won't cut it with him.

Hughies level is all that easy to call. He's unbeaten but fought nobody and has been ordinary a lot of the time. There's the alleged illness causing him to operate at 30% or whatever figure Peter quotes. Point is his capabilities are a bit unknown. He's from a fighting family and has a good trainer. He's a decent size heavyweight too

Parker we know more about and how good he is. Which is decent in today's heavyweights if you don't include Joshua. However he has big problems defensively imo, wide open. Is hughie good enough to capitalise? Parkers not bad offensively though in fairness and has ok power

I make him 60/40 favourite and will say he can stop fury

Thank you Tony for doing another poll.
It is relevant because the sway of votes is now in Hughie's favor, whereas the initial poll for the fight when it was announced for Auckland swung well in Parker's favour.
I'm not sure why this has happened.
Perhaps it is the fact of now being in the UK?
Hughie hasn't done anything to prove his worth since then. Unless you count the 6 round beat down and the publicity photos of him carrying a sheep, beating up carcasses at the butchers, and 'splitting' wood :KO:

I wouldn't be surprised. Parker needs to KO him.
