Has to be said but as ridiculous, crazy and completely unprofessional as that entire outburst and spectacle was, It was probably more fun to watch then listening to them talking in such a monotone and boring way.

I wasn't expecting an outburst like Chisora - Whyte had before their fight, but a little more friendly/competitive back and forth between the champion and the challenger and their teams would have livened the ordeal up a little.

Well, whatever he did, it worked!

This is true and it's always good to see someone with a little more character breaking away from the normal routes, away from the show we all just witnessed an interesting thought is how it'll work out with the fight being broadcasted over Youtube is anyone's guess, but it's certainly innovative to say the least.

Kiwi, Hennessey can’t sale a show as he has no friggin clue how to, he is truly the worst promoter in the history of the sport. Has anyone looked at the seating plan on the Eventim website this morning, I'm guessing that the boxers have now returned their unsold tickets, I would be surprised if he gets more than 2k in that arena on Saturday night, very poor, but it’s all down to him being an inept promoter.

Hope he understands that he is going to lose at least a million pounds, hope his partner is aware of this, how can anyone take a million pound loss, even if Hughie wins it will take Hennessey years to claw back the money and thats if Hughie continues to defend the title successfully.

And with Hennessey and Peter attacking Higgins for his outburst at the press conference this week have they forgotten how bad they acted towards the Klitchsko team in the lead up to the Fury fight, hennessey needs to watch the videos on youtube with him acting up and doing the same as Higgins has done so how can hennessey accuse higgins of being paralytic, he clearly is not happy that he thinks he is being shafted, was Hennessey high on KFC when he was having ago at team klitchsko!

Really hope Hughie pulls this off but if he does i hope he looks at the situation and then leaves hennessey, he deserves better, fighting for a world title in front of 2000 fans on youtube PPV which possibly will only get 5000 buys is sole destroying.

Forcefraser why do you feel for the guy, it’s all his own doing? what has he done to promote this event? Apart from the press conference announcing the fight until this week in the build up what has he done to promote it, virtually nothing, Hearn would be out there day in day out pushing the event and more importantly his fighter.

Yes, Hughie barely has any fans, and yes, the UK doesn't have a very big NZ community to boost Parker's profile, but someone would have surely picked this up?

dirk2686, it’s either one of 2 things, Hennessey is being to greedy and wanted more £££££ than the fight is worth from the TV companies, remember they will only pay what they think it is worth, they recoup most of there costs from advertising or it’s because Hennessey has pissed off to many promoters / tv companies that they don't want to work with him, we have to ask the question, how can Sauerlands get a ITV PPV / ITV4 deal and Hennessey not. I personally think it is both, none of the other promoters have many good words to say about him once they have worked with him, didn’t Bob Arum call Hennessy Sports “amateurs” recently?

But what ever the cause or issues are with Hennessey what we do know is it is causing his fighters careers to stall. Hughie should be fighting for a world title on a decent platform, look at Froch he was the same when he was with Hennessey, look what Hearn done for him! Just Saying.
