Ward is a piece of shiit... a cheating bastard who's running from a very tough division that would give him a number of bad losses... Jay Z lost a fortune on this boy who won by hook or by crook -- so the public never supported Ward because they knew he was a dirt bag cheat.

I don't know the guy personally so I don't know if he's a piece of shiit. A few years ago Kovalev was supposedly a P4P great and Ward fought him twice. Ward also beat Froch and some other name fighters. He's not exciting in or out of the ring, but he's had an excellent career. Most of the Ward-Kovalev rounds were close. The first fight was close. Perhaps the 2nd fight was stopped a wee early, but Kovalev was in trouble.
