Round-By-Round - Joseph Parker (c) vs. Hughie Fury - September 23rd 2017
Re: Round-By-Round - Joseph Parker (c) vs. Hughie Fury - September 23rd 2017
With the way he is moving around I could easily believe that Mickey Vann is wearing a Hughie Fury costume tonight.

9th better for both, Fury showing a good chin. 5-3-1 Parker

Same here - UK commentary doesn't helpchad wrote:Difficult to say for sure who is winning from the stream I'm watching. Picture quality sucks and I can't see what is landing and what is not. It seems an even fight. From what I'm seeing in this thread I'd guess a Fury win by a close margin, a Parker win by a close margin or a draw would all be acceptable?

Fury surely can't win this fight, it would be the biggest strain of a world title ever.
I'm saying Parker is up thinly

Great feet is making the other guy miss and not being a target .... that's what Hughie is doingadamwillan wrote:Great feet doesn't involve running around the ring, it is getting out of distance and in to land your shot. He has no intention of trying to land other than the counter jab

Parker doesn't really look like a champion but if Fury takes it, he'll be an awful one. Feather fisted runner pretending to be Muhammad fukin Ali

To me that's running and great feet keeps you in a position to fire back when they miss...which he isn't doingpaddy chavez wrote:Great feet is making the other guy miss and not being a target .... that's what Hughie is doingadamwillan wrote:Great feet doesn't involve running around the ring, it is getting out of distance and in to land your shot. Is this the final round? I'm so pissed and the stream is so blurry

I wondered if Fury could keep this up all night. Unfortunately, he can. I have him winning it if it goes to points.

Parker need to try and drop Fury in the last. Based on the terrible biased referring and even worse commentary you can imagine what judges will do.

No doubt he'll get jobbed here, surprised he agreed to come.Tarkus wrote:Parker need to try and drop Fury in the last. Based on the terrible biased referring and even worse commentary you can imagine what judges will do.

Must admit that I agree, i admire good defensive boxing more than most but theres not enough coming back for me to enjoy Furys approach. Some decent uppercuts but far too negative for me to appreciate his 'movement'. At the very least i would like to see more right hands following on from his jabs. Flicking the jab out all night with no intention to follow up with anything worthwhile.Boxing Prospect wrote:To me that's running and great feet keeps you in a position to fire back when they miss...which he isn't doingpaddy chavez wrote:Great feet is making the other guy miss and not being a target .... that's what Hughie is doingadamwillan wrote:Great feet doesn't involve running around the ring, it is getting out of distance and in to land your shot. Suppose I should add that although I havent enjoyed his tactics, I reckon Fury has done enough here.
