PARKER VS fury judge 114-114

Post by BIGDOUG58 »

Does anyone know which judge scored the 114-114 score in the Parker vs Fury bout?
Was it O'Connor?

Wasn't oconnor he gave it to Parker. Think the judge who gave it a draw was called young but can't remember exactly.

It does amaze me how we continue to use non neutral judges in this country for World title fights that involve our fighters.

Why? It's always been like that here. Even when Parkers team objected, they bumped Terry to judge from referee! Imagine a fair organisation doing some underhand shite like that? It's hardly a sport now, just a racket.

Who are these referee's / judges paid by? Are they self employed or employees of a particular organisation, maybe the BBOC?

If they aren't working on fight night they aren't being paid or being paid for doing nothing

If TOC hadn't a nights work he would be out of pocket or the company employing him would have someone sat at home doing nothing - so the still had to find him a slot, hence the downgrade to judge?

Just a thought from a different angle - not sure how the legal payroll works in boxing?

Seems like TOC was perfectly neutral to me?
