Canadian Fights

Post by 90 »

I noticed some fights on the Canadian Professional Boxing Federation website that are not listed on Boxrec.

It's at:
http://www.canadianboxing.com/boxing_history_page.htm

March 7 2002 - Winnipeg Manitoba
Marcelo Aravena W4 Ritchie Goosehead

June 6 2002 - Mount Pearl, Newfoundland
Mark Flynn SD Chris Russell
Jason Hayward SD Basil Wile
Ritchie Goosehead SD Brian Bambrick (Bambrick is listed as "Brian Barnes" in Goosehead's record)

September 26 2002 - Halifax, Nova Scotia
Steve Cormier W6 Kris Andrews
Steve McKay W4 Marcelo Aravena
Paul Walberg SD4 Aaron Kinch

March 29 2003 - Halifax, Nova Scotia
Jody Wheaton TKO5 Steve Cormier
Mark Flynn TKO5 Mike Lewers
Eric Boudreault TKO4 Steve McKay
Ted Reno UD4 Jean-Luc Morin

Also on March 31 2001 Mark Flynn scored a UD4 over Mike Sound, but it is listed the other way around in their records.

Hope this is of any help.

I found a few more additions, coming from the same website:

August 16 2000 - Montreal QC
Patrick Rivet W4 Lyes Mokhtar

February 15 2001 - Winnipeg MB
Mathias Hughes (who fought under the name "Mark Newton") W4 Troy Westwood

June 5 2001 - Trois Rivieres QC
Louise Provenncher W4 Nathalie Lacombe

July 20 2001 - St. Hyacinthe QC
Patrick Allard UD4 Sacha Wilner
(this result is not listed on the CPBF website, but can be found at http://www.lecourrier.qc.ca/archives/20 ... 2SP5D.html)

September 13 2001 - Winnipeg MB
Marcelo Aravnea SD4 Marcus Rhode (currently listed as a draw in their records)

Some other odds and ends:
Shaun Roy is listed as having fought Mathias Hughes three times, the extra entry coming Sept.18/02.

Matt Shindruk is listed as having fought Gregory Piper twice, the extra entry coming Mar.7/02.

Adam Gemby is actually Lightweight Matt Gembey.

I hope this helps, I think that's all of them.
