If Parker faces Haye ?
If Parker faces Haye ?
What do you think about this potential fight (supposing Haye is fit) ?

Haye would get ruined if he even made it to the ring. His body is totally borked.

Re: If Parker faces Haye ?
It would be very similar to the Hughie Fury fight, I wouldn't even be surprised if Hughie got the advice to run around like a chicken from that guy, that guy also did it for 12 rounds against Valuev back in the days.
Re: If Parker faces Haye ?
Parker by KO or TKO... too young, too fast, too much power for Haye
Re: If Parker faces Haye ?
The strange thing about Haye is that he seems to have lost his equal best asset. SPEED! He looked to be much slower than Bellew - compare the Haye that fought Chisora vs the come back Haye.
He needs to drop 15lbs.

Hayes f*cked, my granny could beat him
Re: If Parker faces Haye ?
Right now Parker is Mr Popular.
The easiest route to a belt.
His promoters are on good terms with Aram, and Hearn. They also have contacts in Asia/ Pacific.
Everyone wants him. Aram wants Parker to fight Jennings, Eddie wants him to fight AJ ahead of schedule because the next time Parker fights, his belt is gone. There is also a big money offer coming out of Japan.
Promoters everywhere are scrambling about with offers and Higgie's phone is ringing non stop.
Duco Events want Joe in another fight before the end of the year. Eddie is talking mid 2018 and is waving the biggest wad.

Haye would win decisively ... were he still at his peak. In 2017 however - no chance or very little.

David Haye gains revenge over Tony Bellew and then defeats Joseph Parker in the spring of next year to set-up a Wembley Stadium filling title unification fight in the summer against Anthony Joshua, with the winner facing Deontay Wilder in the autumn.
I'm allowed to dream, aren't I?

Re: If Parker faces Haye ?
We’re about eleven weeks away from the December 10th rematch between David Haye and Tony Bellew… and the Hayemaker is looking in fantastic shape already and he hasn’t even commenced training yet:

Haye looks as trim as a cruiserweight and I expect him to score a legitimate stoppage victory over Tony Bellew, which will inevitably result in him challenging Joseph Parker in March 2018 (as per Eddie Hearn’s promise about the winner facing the Kiwi next).

Re: If Parker faces Haye ?
Until Haye beats Bellew in impressive fashion, he doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Parker, and I don't think Parker is all that good.

Haye's defeat to Bellew was a freak injury. The Hayemaker will inevitably gain revenge and I'd favour him to score a decision victory over Joseph Parker.Badhusker wrote:Until Haye beats Bellew in impressive fashion, he doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Parker, and I don't think Parker is all that good.
The Kiwi has had close calls against Takam, Ruiz Jr. and Fury. He looked poor against Cojanu... and I don't see much progression from him. So perhaps he has peaked.
He hasn't convinced me that he has enough tools in his proverbial toolbelt to handle David Haye.

He was injured going in, you can see it the way he was moving in the early rounds.Enlightened-One wrote:Haye's defeat to Bellew was a freak injury. Can his body take many more camps to get fit enough to fight guys like Parker?
Parker isn't a great by any means but a semi-injured Haye is in trouble in there with a fit heavyweight.
Re: If Parker faces Haye ?
I agree; there rumours going in, Haye visited that German Specialist. But, Haye has looked marketably slower since his layoff.Covfefe wrote:He was injured going in, you can see it the way he was moving in the early rounds.Enlightened-One wrote:Haye's defeat to Bellew was a freak injury. Re: If Parker faces Haye ?
He bulked up too much for his comeback and it backfired as he lost his best assets, his speed and movement. Age and inactivity obviously didn’t help but he just didn’t carry the extra weight well at all. I think he'll come in a lot lighter against Bellew this time around which will make him faster and more explosive and he'll aim to blow him out early.. Get the feeling though that if you take this version of David Haye past the early rounds you give yourself a great chance.
Re: If Parker faces Haye ?
Was Haye injured already before the Bellew fight? I remember reading such rumors. Hard to see him knocking out Parker who has a good chin. But he could win on points if in good shape.
