Dude looks real.
Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
Can't argue with what we've seen so far.
Wonder why he turned over so young.

He looks powerful and well versed but still too early to tell.
Best of luck to the kid

Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
Id like to see him fight a heavyweight who is actually up for it and can take a punch.
Very much on the hype train though

Choo choo!
He's no Joshua and I think he will eventually get found out in a world title bout.

Physically he looks the business, but he hasn't thought anyone yet
Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
From what I've seen and heard I'm lumping on big and think he'll be Foreman 2.0Nightmare Roy wrote:Physically he looks the business, but he hasn't thought anyone yet
Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
He looks tremendous so far but he wont reach his full strength for a few years, this and the danger of him not getting enough learning fights are the reasons to be cautious.

If AJ ages fast, Dubois might become better in a few years, I think Dubois is already a top 10 boxer in current state.

Dubruno has great power and strength and this will take him quite far on that alone. There is not a lot around in the heavies.
He does look a bit mechanical and it's early days. I'm not sure he'll be as good as Joshua.

He won't see his full strength??? He looks like bloody Hercules, I don't think he needs more heavy muscles...rm1 wrote:He looks tremendous so far but he wont reach his full strength for a few years, this and the danger of him not getting enough learning fights are the reasons to be cautious.

Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
For me it's just about seeing him get rounds, testing his skills. He needs to be free to experiment, I don't wanna see him KO'ing his next opponent in a round unless he's really brought him to the cleaners with his ability first.
I like Sokolowski as I've previously mentioned. If he can show something in the next few months I wouldn't rule out a Gorman fight.

Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
He may not look very different but humans especially large humans gain strength well into their twenties he should hit harder in three years than he does now.boxingknockout wrote:He won't see his full strength??? Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
Dave Allen was on Boxing Asylum recently talking about fighting Whyte and Ortiz as well as sparring AJ (which he did an awful lot of) and Wlad, Fury etc and said that Dubois is a monster. The only one he did not like sparring with as he is freakishly strong and just a natural born fighter while AJ is strong and well drilled but is also manufactured.
Guy who has been in with all of them with no known axe to grind and in fact was respectful about all of them saying he is the real deal is good enough for me to climb on the train

Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
So long as he keeps giving me free money KO1 bets, absofuckinglutely
Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
Tom little was getting the better of Dubois in sparring the other week
I know, sparrings sparring, fightings fighting, but I believe Tom would beat Dubois

Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
If Dubois gets experience and Hughie learns to start letting his hands go, a match up between them would be fascinating

Re: Who is on the Dubois train?
He looks like he has potential, and I'm certainly routing for him, but lets not get carried away he's not even fought at English title level yet, hell maybe not even are title level
Of his three best opponents, two have been KOed by guys with losing records, and the other was a sub 200Ib former L.Heavyweight
