Trent Broadhurst for a World Title
Trent Broadhurst has been given the opportunity to win a World Title against the interim champion Russian Dmitry Bivol. The fight is in Monaco on November 4th.Dmitry with a record of 11-0-9 has been labled as the next GGG knocking opponents over left right and centre. This fight will be shown into the USA a great chance for Trent to show his wears. Lets all get behind a fair dinkum Aussie fighter going over see to bring a true world title back home

Re: Trent Broadhurst for a World Title
Couldn't agree more, Trent has the talent to win this title. After a run of injuries and set backs it's great to see him get this opportunity. Can't wait to see him show his skills on the big stage and bring another world title back to Australia.

Trent is a polished technician. Hopefully he can stick and move and hang in there long enough to cause Bivol some real concerns.

Some highlights of Bivol and a full fight where he destroys a favourite of mine the butcher. I'm an atheist but I will say a little prayer for Trent that he can land a lucky punch or he doesn't get too seriously hurt.

Trent can fight no doubts. Hope he can get the W and take the title. Looks like the Russian is a beast watching that footage.
Re: Trent Broadhurst for a World Title
Damn he got Berridge's attention with the first punch he landed.
Re: Trent Broadhurst for a World Title
so this is for the regular title?
Re: Trent Broadhurst for a World Title
I think it's Dmitry Bivol's interim title defenceGrant wrote:so this is for the regular title?

Gawd.....modern boxing has turned into ultimate circus/farce
Re: Trent Broadhurst for a World Title
Apparently Bivol 2500/1 on.

Re: Trent Broadhurst for a World Title
open for the uppercut if someone can land it :)
Re: Trent Broadhurst for a World Title
Trent has been chosen to make Bivol look good and wow the crowd with a hightlight reel KO. Higher ranked fighters are blueing why they didn't get the shot.AntonS wrote:Gawd.....modern boxing has turned into ultimate circus/farce

"Mission Impossible ? "
Good luck to Broadhurst.
But the slick punching Russian holds all the Aces in this one.
Sportsbet.
Bivol 1.04 Broadhurst 7.00

Re: Trent Broadhurst for a World Title
tbh bivols kind of been a can crusher so far and im not sure if he already deserves the hype hes getting, but he does look another level above broadhurst. imo itll be a victory for tb just to last the distance.

Re: Trent Broadhurst for a World Title
Dmitry Bivol started boxing in Kyrgyzstan at 6yrs of age.
His amateur record is 268-15 [source Wiki]
Won 2 World amateur championships at under 17.
Won Bronze at the 2008 AIBA Youth Worlds at Middleweight.
Won the Russian amateur title at LHW in 2012 - 2014.
Doesn't appear to have any weak points.
Big chance Bivol will eventually dominate the Light Heavies.
Good luck to Trent Broadhurst. Give it your best shot.

Trent is a very polished performer who many underrate. His big problem here though is obviously going to be Bivol's power.colin russell wrote: ↑01 Nov 2017, 00:31 Trent is in great shape and with the LBT with him over there l see a great chance more of a 50/50![]()
