allegedly US shows?

Post by freddy73 »

Anyone else noticed allegedly has no scheduled US shows?

Looks like there contracts with GBP and Top Rank have expired - unsurprisingly no announcement regarding it.

Cancelled my subscription today after nearly 5 years, they've really dropped the ball lately, and the customer service can be condescending and rude.

Let's hope fully Sky pick's up what allegedly have dropped.

I was about to agree with you, then I remembered they showed the Ramires v Hart bill last week and Canelo v Golovkin the week before.

It's the same way here with the few shows of yours we get. Probably squeezing the last pennies until it's almost too late.

I think you've jumped the gun mate. Eddie Hearn of all people confirmed earlier today that B0xnati0n are showing Vasyl Lomachenko Vs. Guillermo Rigondeaux on December 9th. As far as I know B0xnati0n still have their deals with Top Rank and Goldenboy. I think the real problem is the amount of international content available to B0xnati0n has shrunk due to the decline of PBC and the World Boxing Super Series being on ITV. Hearn / SKY also seems to have a cosy relationship with Showtime meaning they have a good chance of landing any big shows on their channel.

I'm confident B0xnati0n will fill up their schedule soon with the following:

21st October: Jezreel Corrales Vs. Alberto Machado & Demetrius Andrade Vs. Alantez Fox (Golden Boy)
11th November: Jessie Magdaleno Vs. Cesar Juarez & Artur Beterbiev Vs. Enrico Koelling (Top Rank)
25th November: Sergey Kovalev Vs. Vyacheslav Shabranskyy (Golden Boy & Main Events)
2nd December: Miguel Cotto Vs. TBA (Golden Boy)
9th December: Vasyl Lomachenko Vs. Guillermo Rigondeaux (Top Rank)

Outwith this, and what SKY have confirmed, there's not too much more they can really pick up.....so far.

So we've had GGG-Canelo and Loma-Rigo, Warrington-Ceylon, Nurse-Catteral, Smith-Williams plus loads more and all magazine content for £36. Sky is more than that plus at least two ppvs, so £70+, neither PPV fight anywhere near as good as GGG-Canelo or Loma-Rigo. Or even Smith-Williams!

You are right it has gone downhill with their international cards but you might as well get it still, with sky as well because you are almost covered for all us international fights.
also allegedly uk fights are getting better in my opinion apart from the main events, and apart from the last card. warrens cards undercards are better.
The leeds card seem like they have quite a few completive fights nurser vs catterel warrington vs ceylan and what I think could be the sleeper fight poxon vs Woodstock. The poxon vs boy jones jr was one of my fav this year.
the Newcastle looks good as well Williams vs smith. webb vs Gorman looks interesting and josh leather vs glenn foot could be good.
