Nate Diaz, not even close.
Re: opinions---would conor mcgregor make more
The problem with making money in the Canelo fight would be thered have to be one heck of a con man job to make the contest even remotely believably.
Even the guys who ridiculously thought conor was competitive vs Floyd would struggle to believe Conor vs Canelo is a real fight.
If Conor could box, there's more potential money vs Canelo. Being as he's not a boxer, I'd favour Diaz as it can be promoted and built up that the fans would buy into it of course

Conor/Diaz 2 did more buys than canelo/GGG. The rubber match would push 2 million buys.

Diaz in the third fight of their trilogy.
As superficial as it might sound, it's one win to each man and a decider would be great to see, especially with the UFC lightweight title on the line as well, a title Nate has tried and failed to take in the past.
Trilogy fights make for interesting matches, and deciders can bring out the best in both men since you know the final win in their meetings can have the most impact to the wider audience.
A fight with Canelo wouldn't make sense and wouldn't get the audience after the circus fight that happened with Mayweather. The smaller gloves, Mayweather coming off a nearly 2 year lay off, constant grabbing and holding in the fight, against Alvarez it'd be a one sided beating since right now Alvarez is at his (potentially) most dangerous now he looks to have settled into the middleweight division.

Why is McGregor being talked about on a boxing forum? He's not a boxer now or will ever be a boxer. He needs to stick to MMA or retire with all of the money he coned fools into paying for that ppv.
