Clarke hasn't done much his own self, except against opponents with more Ls than enough on their record

it does make you wonder after what 9 fights that they are not moving Benn up in class. He's fighting the equivalent of what his dad fought. I'm just not sure if his camp know how good he is and know as soon as he faces a puncher he will be found out. Boxrec has him ranked at 25 in the Uk but I dont think thats an accurate ranking for him.

I think its about time he did fight someone with a pulse, and I dont want to be negative about his opposition but I dont see what he is trying to learn fighting pure novices or guys who have had a good deal of inactivity in their career. I know its early days for Benn but im confused to where he's going.

Benn's a kid, it's his 3rd fight back after his 'reset', he has virtually no amateur experience.

No reason to rush him. Another couple of fights like this is fine. Next year he can start to progress in terms of competition.

He will need a step up at some stage but he didn't have much of an amateur background so needs being matched carefully and learning on the job more then the Olympians it's just the fact that he takes up good tv slots which annoy people

Benn is mediocre right now, dont be fooled by the blowouts of handpicked guys with their own inflated records. I can see him losing as soon as he fights an opponent with a pulse. As much as we may hate him racking up wins by fighting crap opponents, as much as we hate how he can keep being hyped to the gils with an unbeaten but empty record, it is the right thing approach from his team. He is young and inexperienced enough for significant improvement to be expected. It at least gives him a better chance when he finally is stepped up.

not taken in by benn yet, you can see a mile off when he throws a big shot , but he didnt have a lot of amuter fights ,so he is learning every fight
