My cousin was one of the last people to beat him as an amateur , Everyone was raving about him being this next star and now he’s disappeared !?
Wish I had half the talent that some of these guys have that give it up smh.

I know what you mean about talent, but from what I’ve read he was totally pushed into it from a young age by his dad and never enjoyed it. Not really surprising that he eventually ended up rebelling against it all.

Wasn’t he also struggling to sell tickets?

Don't know about the tickets sales!?
We are gypsies , My cousin was a pretty decent amateur(60-3 ) a real good looking lad to ,really marketable ,might of had the world at his feet in the sport ,decided to start his own business ,that took off earning real good dough and from what i am told he hasn't regretted it one bit .
I dont blame him ether ,like he said who wants too be sat around the gym all day for a few years not earning that much with the chance something could happen and it not pay off .
Anyone know what Romaro is doing instead !?

Romeo was on celebs go dating on channel 4 recently lol. I've heard he's been training in the peacock. Very little chance of a comeback though. Burnt his fingers with promoters

There’s an article in this week’s boxing news - an update on Romeo Romaeo.

Sadly he’s been battling a brain tumour for years….. he comes across well and good luck to him and his health issues.

He looks like Richard Torrez these days oddly.

He can be found on Linkedin. I believe he works for Nike now.

I remember meeting him at the Boxing Awards many years ago, he makes me look tall and I'm far from it!

In boxing News he’s the spitting image of Richard Torrez with an Afro and a tache

I said on here about a year ago that Richard Torrez looks like half the young blokes at my work.

All curly hair & porn star tash.

But they've moved on from that nowadays. Shorter hair & stubble is the norm at present.

Anyway, thanks for the Romeo update & I wish him the best of luck.
