There was a Cuban Middleweight came over and turned pro, he was impressing folk with his skills in sparring...now I've heard fornicate all about him for a few years and I cant even remember his name.

Yeah there were 3 of them living in Cork at one stage - Mike Perez, Luis Garcia & Alexei Acosta. Perez is the only one left.

A guy called Gary Hyde got them from Cuba to Cork and I think they may have trained in McCrory's gym in Newcastle for a while.
