Pulev vs. Joshua Oct. 28th

Post by Ilya Muromets »

The bookies have Joshua a 20-1 favorite which is stupid because Pulev is going to win!

Why so little interest in a heavyweight championship fight? I'm predicting a big upset. Don't forget, you heard it here first!

The odds could be 10,000 to 1... Pulev has less chance to win this fight than a 6 year old girl has of giving birth to a 10 year old boy.

That doesn't happen often. Pulev hasn't knocked a decent Heavyweight out in 5 years ... Can't get KJ out??? You've got a big problem. You can't throw.

I can see the future news stories:

What happened to Anthony Joshua?

He has never been the same again since the Klitschko fight. Three knockout losses in a row now - Pulev, Wilder, and now Helenius.

I am expecting this one to be a good fight.

Pulev is no walk in the park. If Pulev sticks to the move and jab game plan this one might go for full 12 rounds. Joshuas stamina will be tested.

Anyone thinking this will go down like the Pulev vs Wlad fight will be in for bit of a surprise.

I still expect Joshua to win this but in my eyes its 65% to 35% kind of match.

Pulev just isn't that good. Respectable opponent, but a big step down from Wlad.

That's how I see it but 20-1 in a two horse race is just nuts. You wouldn't find AJ disrespecting Pulev like that. That's almost worth a score except I wouldn't bet against West Ham United out of principle, even when it looks like free money, and I feel the same way about Anthony Joshua.

Pulev won't win though, he's not that good.

I don't think he has much of a chance but 20-1 , that's crazy. 5-1 maybe.

I think most people are expecting a blow out or an easy win of some sort from Joshua.

I can’t see piled keeping Joshua off him when he explodes on the attack. Can only see Joshua stoppage

I'm excited about the fight. Pulev is a different kind of fight for AJ, sure, it will not be easy if Pulev has the fight of his life.
Also the undercard is shaping up fairly well.
I don't think Pulev can win, what is exciting is- if he can be the first man to go the distance, and spoil AJ's perfect KO record. Apart from Wlad, I think Pulev might have the best chance at it.

Pulev is hardly known for his work rate. He's a plodder with questionable power. I think Joshua can do a number on him

I’m in the same boat really. Got a lot of respect for someone who has a jab. I’m betting it will cause AJ problems although, AJ will break through at some stage and hurt him.
