1:54 * Sandy seems to be having some difficulty seeing. It's not that he's bleeding all that badly but the location of the cut - over the eye - makes it a bit more serious. And talk about timing, the referee has stepped in and momentarily stopped the fight. He's looking at the cut above Sandy's eye and is now leading him toward the ringside physician. 6:11
1:54 * The referee won't stop the fight on his own if the reason for the stoppage directly has to do with a cut or swelling; he'll always consult the ringside doctor. In what would be an even fight going into the 13th, stopped from swelling. Tough way for Robinson to lose the fight. I think he's running out of gas late in the season, losing so rematches from earlier wins. Thanks for the shot from Ketchel.

Duran is the opposite of Robinson, getting some stoppages from previous loses.

Damn, as if Mickey got disqualified for leaning on the opponents neck after flooring Leonard twice, can't help but feel a little ripped off but I guess that is some Karma from Mickey getting a TKO after elbowing Ezzard Charles in his last fight.

exciting fight between Duran and Jackson.

Ketchel scores his 6th consecutive KO/TKO which is now the new season high, have to feel bad for Robinson though being ahead on the cards only to get stopped on cuts.

Cotto scores a huge upset KO, Hagler couldn't beat Sweet Pea over two 8 rounders and Cotto knocked him out in 6, this really shakes things up to see who will fight for the Vacant CPU title as Whitaker was a top contender.

It could be karma for his DQ win over Duran to win a belt. It still haunts me to this day.......

No worries. Ketchel and Robinson seem to produce good fights so it'd be worth pursuing a trilogy eventually whether there's a belt on the line or not.

The way the fight was warming up I was thinking "it was the right thing to do vacating a belt to set this one up!" then Walker gets DQ'd in the SIXTH ROUND of 15 just for leaning on SRL's neck. It's nothing short of abominable.

I'm imagining the meltdown in CS if something like that happened IRL.

DQ losses are annoying as hell. Greb the top man in my stable has suffered 2 of 'em this season.

The Sim referees are a little too quick to issue DQ's in my book.
