Yeah but still I can imagine Stalker's speed, sharpness and engine to fade but basic tactics???

The thing is when boxing 4x2's it is that frantic that the tactics are the same almost every contest, however this doesn't always translate when fighting 12x3's.

Absolutely love the masher story , seems like a good bloke and is a more skillful boxer than people give him credit for .

Even accounting for the differences in the amateur game.

He's just not very good. I rememeber watching his first couple fights and saying he wouldn't make British level (I wasn't alone, it was hardly a revelation)

Dodd is looking more accomplished with every fight, he's shown good skills and intelligence in the fights with Stalker and Appleyard

He is that. And even after all his shortcomings as a pro sky still bum him up as some amateur legend before all his fights as if that'll compensate for his up coming defeat. Yawn.

It's the complete lack of head movement, the fact he stays in range and goes out in straight lines.
You'd think he'd of learnt some of these basics in the amateur.

If you showed someone who didn't know him Stalker on video, there's no way they'd guess he'd had that extensive amateur career. His head and foot movement is on par with a novice a lot of the time.
