Would you prefer a Latvian ref with 3 Latvian judges?
The referee should be banned.

An excellent post, Mexi-Box !

will be an awful fight and then ppl will start overrating chance of the winner on other side of bracket. that guy is guarnteed to win more explosively.

Agreed. The purist bracket vs the power bracket, or so.

Th fight was very hard to ref. A hometown champion was doing excessive holding, but the other guy was leading with his head plus didn't mind holding himself.

No doubt, breidis also knocked out one of vitalis glorious challengers. I remember telling people that if arreola got in shape he'd be a cruiserweight punching bag. Now they're asking about that Butterball Ruiz.

That was one ugly fight. After that I can almost imagine the horror that would be two Wards fighting each other.

Briedis was constantly hugging. Perez was headbutting. Both were constantly hitting behind the head.

I had Briedis winning by few rounds.

Perez was looking pretty good as a cruiser weight. Hope he stays there. Tough luck he had to start the tournament against Briedis. I think he would have good chance to beat Dorticos and Kydrashow.

I am even more confident now that Usyk will win this tournament.

People think these fatties are going to be monsters dropping down a division, when in reality they get matched against speed the likes they've rarely seen. Lol Ruiz at CW would be more grotesque than he is now.

Very few boxing fans understand the weight aspect of the sport. Amazing that anyone doesn't realize how bad the heavyweight division sucks.
