True, I've watched the brewster fight, and it was his conditioning that let him down, strange really that he didn't train like he should , maybe he thought he'd get Liakhovich out of there early.knockout wrote:lets hope he keeps on the road and works hard in the mean time...
all the retina means is that he cannot spar... can do everything else... like lose 10lbs for example!!

I always find it hard to feel sorry for McCellandeadpan wrote:I think that's pretty frickin' cool.
Rather that than the barbarity of Gerald Mc and Jones Jr.
Brewsters a true gentleman and class act. I hope hes made some money because I can see Don King freezing him out
To be honest if a detatched retina keeps him out of boxing it may stop him from getting brain damaged as hes such a face first fighter.

Yeah I think he might blow up as well, But maybe the loss will focus his mind and he'll try and keep a bit in shape, Brewster seems like an articulate guy, so he must know he should have been in better shape.nickd wrote:Imagine the size he will be by the time he returns?topper123 wrote:Have read that Brewster has had an operation for a detached retina, so he will be out for quite a while, shame as he was always entertaining in and a class act outside of the ring as well.
Hopefully he can recover and continue
Fair play to Brewster though, he hasn't come out with the usual excuses that heavyweights do when they lose, think if it was anyone else in the top ten you would have heard allsorts of whining by now.
