You think he'd beat any of the cruisers in the WBSS that are still in it? We saw Saturday with Mike Perez that getting into shape doesn't mean you'll be a force at the lower weight, and I believe Perez to be better than ChisoraSAPFO wrote:Well why not? He's just short of 6 2" which is small for a HW, even small for a few of the top CW. He's got more of a shot at picking a title up down there. He'd beat Bellew thats for sure. It's only ever his gas tank that slows his pace down at HW. Imagine a lean, fit, 50lbs lighter, faster Del Boy. Even fat he gave old VKlit a run, and beat Helenious. He's never weighed in below 235 though so I doubt he'd ever have the discipline. What you reckon, 220 and cut from there? It's doable...Marlo Stanfield wrote:Do you really think Chisora would be a force at Cruiser? That division is seriously strongSAPFO wrote:
Yes, but could be a force lower down where he's not being out sized.

I don't. Chisora would dismantle Perez at HW. Chisora is not bad, just doesn't give himself the best chance.
Re: Derek Chisora v Marios Kollias
chisora no better than perez. ppl need to can all the 'lose weight and be a cw force' nonsense. cruisers are no slouch and regularly beat hws who try it, like chambers and perez. also look at how briedis flatten charr like vitali couldnt and how huck battered povetkin like a bowl-cutted step child, only to get robbed. even past prime chinny cunningam who was losing at cw became a hw contender, beat mansour, shouldve got win over 'top ten' glazkov, and put eventual champ fury hard on his ass.
chis would be slow as shit compared to top cruisers.

Let's be realistic, Chisora is never going to fight at Cruiserweight.
