I’m going, but I’m from Cardiff so no hotel for me
Those prices are a fvcking ripoff. It was the same for the Champions League final in the summer, just not enough hotels to meet demand.

I am driving in and out on the day, will stay in Bath which is only an hour away. Benefit of not drinking. Although am wondering what the frig to do about parking!
Re: Hotel prices for AJ in Cardiff on the 28th
Parking will be a nightmare, park in Canton and walk in pal.

I've been going to Cardiff for the last 16 years for the Speedway Grand Prix. The hotel prices for that have been going up each year to the point that they are now at ridiculous levels. This year I paid thirty quid to stay in the halls of residence. Unfortunately that won't be an option for the AJ fight as all the students will be there.

Book into a hotel in one of the surrounding towns and get a train into the centre, train will take less than 20 minutes and the hotel prices will be standard
Pontypridd, Merthyr Tydfil etc.

For anyone making a day of it, Cardiff are playing Millwall in the afternoon. Be good to see a few new faces down there, hopefully we’ll still be top of the Championship by then

I heard they're trying to get that game moved now mate. Don't think they want hundreds of Millwall knocking about the city in the nightBoxerbeetle wrote:For anyone making a day of it, Cardiff are playing Millwall in the afternoon. Would make sense to move it from a policing perspective I suppose, but would be a shame.Marlo Stanfield wrote:I heard they're trying to get that game moved now mate. They confirmed it wasn't moving the other week, I was pretty surprised to be honest.
Not that, that stops the old bill making snap last minute decisions of course...

Your spare bedroom is worth at least £250 for the night, put in the shower too and add an extra £50.Boxerbeetle wrote:I’m going, but I’m from Cardiff so no hotel for me

I had to do that when I got married for my stag. Ex wife took kids to her mams. It was the night of Khan v Judah. There was more bugle than a brass section in my flat that nightBoxerbeetle wrote:If I can get the missus to take the kids to her parents for the night, everyone is invitedStuarty30 wrote:Your house for a post AJ party thenBoxerbeetle wrote:I’m going, but I’m from Cardiff so no hotel for me
