IMO this match would be decent BUT I wonder if Parker would get pass of Wilder's personal anti-doping test??

I think what theya re actually using is mind control to force all these poor boxers to use banned substances, they need to wear protection like foil hats.

He wouldn't get past Wilder in the ring I can tell you that. Parker is quite mediocre.

Yeah, Parker would be a nice scalp but would Wilder have the b@lls to fight him ?gilgamesh wrote:He wouldn't get past Wilder in the ring I can tell you that. Parker is quite mediocre.

I'm pretty sure the wbc would easily allow Wilder to unify with Parker.gilgamesh wrote:Yes. Considering Parker just fought Hughie in the U.K. I figure there's a good chance Anthony Joshua comes calling for Unification before Wilder does. That may have been part of the plan in bringing that particular fight to the U.K. anyhow. Establish Parker there a little bit so that he becomes known as a potential opponent for Joshua to more fans.apollo creed wrote:I'm pretty sure the wbc would easily allow Wilder to unify with Parker.gilgamesh wrote:Yes. I mean, of course there's a chance. The WBC would do anything to protect Wilder. The thing they do most frequently is make sure that he never has to fight anyone too good.
But realistically, there is no reason anyone should be jumping through hoops to save Wilder from Parker. Parker has already struggled with Takam, Ruiz, and Hughie. It's reasonable to assume that Wilder would probably just beat him straight-up. If the judges were even a little bit partial to Wilder, then you have every reason to assume that Wilder would be a heavy favorite.

If your taking things on the banned list, particularly if you're taking blood pressure meds, you have to make sure everyone is on board. You can't rely on your doctor telling you it's fine because he has approval from VADA or whoever to prescribe the medication. You don't let his mistake be your mistake because they can say, "No. We never give approval by phone. You need written approval -- a signed approval from our director that the medication is not enhancing but needed for the health of the boxer."
VADA, WBC, NSAC, or various org approval for PEDs can also be manipulated. Like Lamont Peterson's retroactive medical approval, months after he cheated with synthetic testosterone. He desperately needed the meds for low T but forgot to ask permission before the fight. He continued to forget he was taking the PED and insisted he was clean. He asked for his B sample to be tested. When his B sample came back positive he remembered he was taking it for his low T.
90% of medications are unneeded. Meds often have side effects that more than counteract anything they're supposed to do. High blood pressure? Relax. Have more fun. Improve your diet and lose weight. Revamp your workout and exercise routines until they're optimal. Stop worrying. Take care of problems and issues before you start fretting. Get more sleep. Meditate. Lighten your schedule. Cardiovascular issues? Same approach. Digestive System disorders? The focus needs to be on finding the optimal diet and calorie load. Diabetes? Same approach. Neurological disorders? Swing dancing, juggling, hacky sack, speed reading, crossword puzzles, frisbee tossing, anything mentally or physically intricate and challenging helps. Musculoskeletal disorders? Stretching, yoga, acupressure, relaxation/biofeedback techniques.
Rather than cure disorders that are diet and life style issues, doctors write tons of prescriptions that relieve symptoms, but don't cure the condition. They get legal kickbacks from Big Pharma -- and for the right price you'll find doctors who will write prescriptions for PEDs.

I think it'd be more parkers strategy to get at Joshua than vice versa. Matchroom and Hearn didn't bring Parker over, hennessay sports did. Also that fight was initially in NZ when first made, so I can't really support this is part of team Joshua's plansgilgamesh wrote:Considering Parker just fought Hughie in the U.K. I figure there's a good chance Anthony Joshua comes calling for Unification before Wilder does. Wilder smashes Parker anyway
I think Whyte and Del Boy do also based on parkers recent showing

parker would get his head screwed off by wilder, so yes he would be screwed
wilder 'screws' everyone in that way except for josh

Parker has the winner of Bellew Haye in the works I think. It's all part of Eddie's long game. More money for him in that, than facing Wilder. Then the winner has a go at AJ for all the $$$ and that leaves Wilder with the last belt and biggest payday.

Even more conspiracy theory bûllshît! FFS! I can't decide whether the mindset of a lot of those riding the "corruption" bandwagon are either deeply amusing or moderately disturbing!apollo creed wrote:IMO this match would be decent BUT I wonder if Parker would get pass of Wilder's personal anti-doping test??
