Because he dislikes Brook that much, he doesn't want to give him the payday, even if he loses out on a big one himself. That's my take on it.
Brook doesn't need a payday! He's not Witter, he's a multimillionaire after the last year, without his family dipping into it.

That bill wouldn't open the top tier of the arena.

Khan was also too quick for every other boxer that chinned him.
Ha very true but BJS is not a one punch knock out artist is he so I think he can get away with it.

Lightweights put him over. They used to with headguards and big gloves, too.

Saunders should be too big for khan to win. I’d actually give Khan a live shot at winning though

Khan was getting knocked down by Gomez, Limond, Prescott et al, Garcia KOd him, Maidana nearly did. He should not be up at middle, getting punched in the head by big strong lumps like Canelo and Saunders. I worry for his health.

Surely there is still a profit to be made managing Khan carefully and carrying him towards a winnable belt. I don't understand why he's pursuing these kamikaze fights?

Sorry, Martin Murray? What's he done to deserve another world title shot? Two of his last three fights have been at super-middleweight.

They're trying to make Flanagan - Ray Beltran for December.
Hes had a few decent wins and he is a legit middle weight. What has khan done do deserve a middleweight shot? He has been fighting absolute nobodys for the last 3 years apart from canelo who knocked him into orbit.

Billy Joe Saunders vs. Amir Khan Not Happening, Says Warren

When 'Scene asked Warren if there was any substance to the speculation he said: "No. That [fight] won't happen."

You moved the goalposts a bit putting Crolla in... Get Fury-AJ on as well just to make sure.

Considering it's Saunders we're talking about he probably doesn't fight anybody at all for another year and a half.

Murray is from St.Helens which although an old Lancashire town is now part of Merseyside so definitely not Mancunian although his fans would doubtless make the short trip to the MEN, about 15 to 20 miles for most. The only Mancs on that list are Flanagan and Crolla but I think even that on its own would get a decent attendance at the arena.

Most would agree that Murray has done little to merit a 5th title shot but it would be competitive if he faced Saunders in my opinion and a 5th shot is not unheard of these days with 4 recognised orgs. I think Murray deserves a shot more than Khan does as its his natural weight at least.

If Crolla beats burns i can see this fight happening and it would make sense to make it a double world title header especially with murray just down the road. I though Burton was from that area with him being furys cousin and training with gallagher all his career.

BJS is the much bigger man naturally and I think he doesn't get the credit he deserves. He's one of the most underrated British boxers out there.

Saunders would probably get a lot more credit if he'd actually do something to further his career. He's just kinda stagnated.

What are these decent wins? I'm not saying Khan does deserve a shot but I'd list Murray's top wins being Rosado, Bursak and Khomistky. Neither standout.
