Yeah from the ring walks on it was great but before I've never known such a subdued crowd because of how long we had to wait with no entertainment a few people behind me even went home, and people were a kip. But the ring walk songs were spot on might have even been the first time Haye used aint no stopping us now, and I think Enzo came out to that no I won't back down. The atmosphere during was brilliant.
Frampton v Martinez (first time round) was brilliant. Only time I've been Belfast for Frampton so it may well always be like that and that time wasn't that special but was very good.
Tend to prefer them when there is a bit of support for both boxers which is probably why I'd give it to Froch v Bute which has been mentioned that was a good one. Quite a few Romanians in the crowd who were definitely creating the more noise pre fight obviously when it got going and Froch got on top it was absolutely mental. Great night that one, helped that I went the after party I suppose but definitely one of my better nights at boxing
don't think haye and enzo started their ring walks till after 1am to accommodate U.S tv, but that left a massive gap and Mexican waves accompanied with sweet caroline blasting out is only fun for so long ! As soon as it started though you could feel the electricity in the air and the gap was soon forgotton
My memory is hazy after this time and a fair amount of alcohol was consumed but I seem to remember the bars shut at 10 or 11, and I feel like the boxing stopped and there was no music. I'm certain on the first 2 but can't actually remember about the music or lack of.
Also having no transport to get home, load of West Ham who were there walking through the Blackwall tunnel meant very few cabs could get in, every night bus too rammed or couldn't get there due to the traffic problems and so having to walk home. But like you say once the ring walks started a great atmosphere and the result I wanted so that bit was brilliant.
Just remembered Valuev v Haye being a good atmosphere too. Due to a decent 'away' following but not in the latter large numbers as it was for the Wlad fight. Obviously the fight was pretty dull on reflection although at the time it felt a lot better I have to say (perhaps the German beer did the trick), the tram afterwards back into town was brilliant for laughs and atmosphere etc.

Christ knows how everyone got home, we just had to walk across the road to our hotel and were sat in our room having a brew watching the masses of people just milling around in the cold, poor sods
Another for Froch Bute. Good away following. Met some lads earlier in the day who'd flown from Canada and just got a taxi to Nottingham from Manchester Airport.
Re Haye Enzo, wasn't the traffic so bad that as the story goes Haye himself just walked home?

Remember watching that (Burns Martinez) on telly and thinking it sounded brilliant
It was absolutely rocking. The venue was great, tight and compact and big steep slopes, everyone on top of the ring.
it was also still whilst Ricky had a more local following of people from Coatbridge where he came from who all knew him personally.
The fight was dramatic and he fought absolutely out of his skin - everything about it was great absolute bedlam when he was announced as the world champion. The crowd went through every emotion with the corner and Ricky that night.
Froch vs Bute was great as well. Good venue, full city behind him, plenty of Romanians to make it like a football crowd atmosphere- bit of needle in the air and it was about 1am I think because of Candian telly so everyone was smashed.
