Were/are the Eubanks good fighters under the trainer of Ronnie? Could either of the Eubanks been any better without him?

Not sure snr could have improved any more,he had a great career anyway. Jnr still has everything to prove, I like him but he's still at the early stages of a potentially good career. Does Ronnie even have that much input into training jnr?

Didn't senior once describe Davis as being the most expensive bag carrier in Britain! It's common knowledge (I live round the corner from thier gym) that neither father or son listen to any advice given to them. Shame as he seems like a decent bloke.

I don't think Eubank Sr was really going to listen to anyone. He thrived on being the maverick outlaw. Eubank Jr. won't listen to anyone other than Eubank Sr. From what I can see he has taken pretty much every aspect of Srs teachings, certainly about the mental side of the game anyway.

Who else has Davies worked with? Chris speaks well of him in his autobiography. He wasn't a bag carrier, he worked with Chris properly

I don't know where Davis has got as far as he has. Obviously training Chris senior but before that I believe he just used to teach kids how to box in Brighton. I don't live far from him either as said above nice guy but IMO not a proper trainer. At least junior buggers off to train with the Mayweathers sometimes so can pick up some real skill ( obviously senior as well) would like to see CEJ with a real trainer for a few months someone like Dominic ingle could probably do wonders with him

If he did'nt know what he's doing i doubt Snr would let him within a bulls roar of jnr , Theres obviously some sort of respect , and to gain that from a fella like Eubank snr is saying something , because when all the shouting is done snr has trained with some of the best , int the states but still chose Ronnie , Jnr has trained with the Mayweathers , had his dad advising him , probably trained with other top coaches , could name anyone has his handler /trainer but picks Ronnie .

If you were to ask Snr he would probably say , i have more experience than anyone else , and because of my undying faith in myself , my ability , and my forefrightness , my ability to dig deep under immense phsycological presssure , my ability to absorb punishment like no other man , my cast iron chin , and my absolute determination to be bested by no other man , I myself therfore am the best man for the job , But second to that , when i am not there , and am prancing around the country looking and acting like a dick . I nominate Ronnie Davis has second best for the job ,,

So he must know what he's doing otherwise the Eubanks would'nt deal with him .
