Who ever is advising Tyson needs to be sacked, surely it will be a bad move for Tyson to team up with BIBA, hope he understands if he wants to fight in the UK on a BBB of C show he will need to be approved by the BBB of C, he will be treated the same as any other foreign boxer, the BBB of C will have the final say if he is aloud to fight, he will have to pass all of their criteria, my guess he won’t!

Also looking on the BIBA website it looks like they are not affiliated with any of the real world boxing organisations so he isn’t going to be able to fight for the WBC / WBO / IBF / IBO or WBA titles. So will we see him fighting for the WBF title against Danny Williams? if so great move by Tyson and his advisers.

Wonder if we will see hennessey now promoting WBF world titles, then again least he would of found his level, mickey mouse promoter, promoting a mickey mouse world title!!

Every organisation has to start somewhere. If BIBA think they can do a better job than the BBBofC good luck to them.

A lot of boxers they list on the website have never fought under the auspices of BIBA, Botha is definitely retired, Sprott fights under a BDB license and Danny Williams a Latvian one. Perhaps Tyson should get licensed there and fight Williams for the Latvian title... I think Martin Rogan is making a comeback with BIBA soon, obviously über is cutting into his taxi earnings...

Any of Fury's future contests will still be for the lineal world title (and the 'Ring' magazine belt) regardless of any organizations sanctioning. This will be the case until he either loses or really retires from boxing.

I think if he fights an absolute turkey, it's valid to say that's not for the lineal title.

Doesn't matter who it is, as long as it is not an exhibition match and the opponent is a professional boxer.

Nope, in real life Britain and Ireland are two separate countries lol. It's as legit as calling a board the Congo and Russia Boxing Authority... I mean, calling it the British and Irish Boxing Board technically excludes Northern Ireland... which isn't part of Britain or Ireland yet Rogan is signed-up

So if he fought the guy ranked 357 on boxrec it would be for a lineal belt (ring) belt?

I highly doubt it

Replying to this thread contradicts me hugely but I find everything to do with Fury exceptionally boring now and flick past any YouTube recommends that pop up with him in them and hardly read threads or news reports. It is a repetitive, repeating cycle of bullshit which has no validity as it changes by the hour. Retired, not retired, drug hearing to sort it, drug hearing called off, lost two stone, put on three stone, coming back for his belts, fck the belts and does not need them and on and on.

One swallow does not a summer make and beating Wlad in that one night in Germany does not make him a superstar. I was never on the AJ train and if I am honest was a bit of an anti-AJ man previously but now, as things have played out, I think he knocks this version of Tyson out with ease and think potentially this version of AJ beats the Fury of two years ago.

Same. Used to like Tyson and was a big supporter early on. Then he became boring and tedious. Used to be a genuinely funny guy and now it's the same drivel time and again. Bible quote - bible quote - bible quote - call out AJ and Wilder saying both are bums and he could beat both on the same night - fifteen bible quotes - I've had enough of boxing - a smattering of bible quotes - not been in the press for a while, say something daft about women/gays/Jews - I'm coming back - Jesus is lord - I've retired again - picture in a kebab house - more bible.

Boring.

Yep.
If guy #357 happened to win he would be the new lineal champion. There is no actual lineal belt BTW.
I don't know what the 'Ring' magazine would do.
