I'd love this fight. It would be better than the Munroe fight because Lemieux will come to smash Saunders.

bjs wsy better boxer but erratic and a fader, even in last 2 against willy. lem limited but has power and agression combo at highrr leven than any previous bjs opponent. prob bjs wins but dangerous fight.

Also 'I'm the champion - you come to the UK.' Doesn't always work like that. Froch was the champ - went to US for Taylor. Conversely Froch wasn't the champ - Bute comes to Britain.

What business does Lemieux do in Canada? Considering BJS fights in leisure centres it must be better than Saunders over here.

your right Lemieux will always be a danger with his power, but andy lee was proving to be a power puncher when they meet , bjs is quality boxer , lemieux isn't in his class ,if bjs lost that fight he should call it day.

lee very different from lemieux. lee more skill but not very aggressive and is most dangerous on counter. lee one of those guys who feints 2x as much as punches. hard to make that work against boxer like saunders. lemieux much more aggresive and will take fight to saunders. much more dangerous opponent for a not physically strong fader like saunders. i think saunders biggest problems came against guys who took it to him. that russian, blackwell, ryder all did it and had their moments. he doesnt like the 'heat'. was getting tossed around when eubank started fighting too.

can see saunders outboxing him widely but think its a risky fight.

bjs much better skill. but not a puncher and think he struggles with pressure. monroe gave him none. lee little.that russian (barely won his last fight vs boxrec#383) did though. and ryder. and novice eubank in last half. blackwell too.

Dunno why people keep bringing up Akavov, Billy Joe weren't in the right frame of mind for that one, I think he lost the plot and became stale due to inactivity. Lemieux makes for an entertaining fight though so make it.

ya lets just ignore times where he didnt look good, but not do same for lem. bjs just getting by nothing new or one off. happening for years now. far less evidence to back claims that hell school lemieux. lem limited on skill but also has pressure that has caused saunders problems. really interesting. good matchup. both lose to elite but this is 60-40.

if bjs was really as good as boxer as some think he wouldve still beaten that russian no problem. bjs is good boxer, but at 2nd tier. even monroe 'no punches' prob still managed to win like 4 rounds. bjs not a schooler at this level at all.

Of course he has a punchers chance, he always will, but % wise he will be getting boxed to a decision defeat
