Hughie Fury and David Price both see themselves as above this at the moment which is a shame.skanksta wrote:Sexton/Cornish vs Allen for the British and Commonwealth - seems bizarre when there are so many great/promising British heavies around.
Surely Price can get back in the mix ?
I'd like him to get a Lonsdale belt outright - seems a great guy and he guarantees a KO one way or the other.![]()
The main event may well need judges...

Pricey is around Euro level at the moment, he's already demolished Sexton...jameswilson wrote:Hughie Fury and David Price both see themselves as above this at the moment which is a shame.skanksta wrote:Sexton/Cornish vs Allen for the British and Commonwealth - seems bizarre when there are so many great/promising British heavies around.

58-56 Sexton after 6
Re: Round-By-Round - Gary Cornish vs. Sam Sexton - October 6th 2017
cornish looked ragged in that round. since the start whenever sexton lands a powershot, even glancing, corn gets jarred and reacts worried. doesnt absorb it well.
Re: Round-By-Round - Gary Cornish vs. Sam Sexton - October 6th 2017
Sexton has always had stamina issues, if Cornish can can in there the Norwich man might fall apart.
Re: Round-By-Round - Gary Cornish vs. Sam Sexton - October 6th 2017
We already knew Sexton was British title level at best, but Cornish was unproven at this level before tonight. How the f@ck could they thought of putting him in with AJ? Brilliant career management, that's all I can say.

People thought the same about Price until they found his chin. Turns out AJ is ok in that department.Neil Gee wrote:We already knew Sexton was British title level at best, but Cornish was unproven at this level before tonight. 87-84 Sexton.
Sexton starting to land at will now. Cornish just looking to hold.

Is it just me or has Cornish regressed from when he got hammered by Joshua?

Sexton is making amazingly hard work of this. Cornish is a knockout begging to happen.
