is he banned from boxing. i think they should just rate ppl based on resume , impressiveness of win, and how active. like what if a drug cheat only gets banned from competing for one sanctioning body belts but then gets great wins for others. do we just ignore it.

The guy has a long string of knockouts over very average opposition. The only reasonably well known names being Jason Gavern, Shawn Cox, and George Arias . Not the young buck from the Dom Rep but the well past his best Brazilian journeyman with the same name.

Zhang has been boxng more than 5 years and is 35 years old. He seems in no hurry to advance his career, which just seems to drag on going nowhere - hey, maybe that's why they call him "The Dragon King".

I don't get it - It's even debatable whether he is the best pro Heavyweight in China with the family name Zhang .

Because I've seen him punching, he couldn't get out of China just last year and that stopped him in his carreer. I expect the other heavyweights to duck him, just like they do with Ortiz. I'd like to see a match between Jun Long Zhang and Ortiz.

I've done more of such predictions. I already said it when he wasn't even a top 100 boxrec boxer. Same with Mladen Miljas, who's a top 25 ish boxer, same with Tyrone Spong, where I said it from when he only had 2 winning fights, Dubois same story, Yoka same, I'd like to predict, somehow it regularly takes years before they are finally ranked high.
Filip Hrgovic might also become a top 30 ish guy.

He was already challenged by Jun Long Zhang, but for whatever reason the fight never happened, I guess Zhang Zhilei ducked him, but I'm not a 100% sure about it.

Miljas is promising. He's in Canada IIRC where the Heavyweight scene is thriving. I'd like to see Adam Braidwood fight Simon Kean, I've not been at all impressed with Dillon Carmen.

I think if the high point of Hrgovic's career was to be top 20 never mind 30, that would have to be regarded as a massive failure. I see him as potentially one of the biggest threats to Anthony Joshua in a few years time. Definitely a future contender. Yoka and Dubois too, maybe Miljas, maybe Sirenko, maybe Rock ...

Tyrone Spong is no spring-chicken, and really needs to think about stepping up. Maybe someone like Joey Abell, Fred Kassi, Derric Rossy, Joey Dawejko ... someone like that at the very least. WTF is he waiting for?

Maybe it's the Chinese not wanting to see one of their two prospects lose his '0'. Why have a Heavyweight prospect when you can have two? Tyrone seems to be a bit of an odd character, he's like: I fight and I fight for money. You advert, you promote, you talk, you everything else.
And his promotor doesn't seem to be as confident in him.
Tyrone doesn't care when, where, against who, I've seen him kickboxing against guys where the looks just said, you got 0 chance, you're too small. But in the end, he still managed to make it a very very close fight, or even win it.
But even yesterday, it became a pay to see fight, very unusual at this stage, I'd like to see him against Dillian Whyte, both in boxing as well as kickboxing and TBH I expect Tyrone to win the kickboxing match.
