BitPlayer wrote:I actually saw Eubank Jr at a grocery store in Brighton yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
What a dinlo

Unfortunately we might be waiting a while as he's actually very good and will beat the current crop that are being presented to him.

Can't wait to see what he's made of against the elite of the division.

And yes he is a prize plum , but it's understandable when you see how pop acts .
In his defence ( he wrote loathingly) he gets better every fight. I pick him to make the WBSS final at least. I could even see him out working Groves and taking the trophy. Of course it's not my personal ideal result, but it would not surprise me. His level of fitness is impeccable, shown by the workrate over 12 rounds with the corpse of Abraham.
He fights Groves in the Semi doesn’t he? Providing they both win their QF’s.
That would be very tasty and is a pick-em fight .

Junior seems to take too many for me and with Groves's power who knows ?

I don't remember ever seeing Yildirim but he has a decent record for only 16 fights, the Periban win is good, is he a come forward tank like aggressor? If so it should make for a good fight Eubank Jr always fights on the front foot and doesn't mind trading, his defence or head movement isn't great but theres not many guys who have been able to trade with him because he does whip the shots on with speed and really loads up, despite him not being known as a puncher his shots do look hurtful

His self belief is massive so fighting in Germany wont faze him a bit, he's gaining the experience and ring maturity that he lacked in some fights early in his career, Abraham was a punch bag but I liked the pace Jr set in that fight, Yildirim looks a sturdy fvcker so hopefully its bombs away, i'll take Eubank Jr on points

What was Yildrim's manager losing the rag about in the press conference?

This a really silly move making this and Groves PPV. Both on free, jumping into the ring and calling each other out on ITV 1, they'd have had a big hit on their hands for the semis.

Sickens me how greedy and stupid these pigs are. As just stated, if they could build up the mega fight by fighting on ITV4, there'd be even more PPV buys for that fight.

Unbelievably short sighted decision to put Eubank and Groves on PPV separately. Should both have gone on ITV/ITV4 and used these fights as the start to a massive build up to a PPV clash next year. I'm a bit more intrigued by this fight than Crolla-Burns but there's not a chance in hell I'm paying for this when I can watch the alternative for free.

Nothing of interest. A 47 y/o Firat Arslan is fighting a 24-12 opponent. Chief support is a 14-0 prospect(?) with 1 KO. Zach Parker on as well.
