Boxing Brothers

Post by Londonirish »

We've got the Smith brothers over here and with all being at least British champions is Amazing

Was looking at Miguel Vazquez Josh Taylor next opponent and notice he boxed Saul Alvarez on his debut losing on SD, he boxed him again losing on points, it says that Night all 7 Alvarez brothers boxed on the Card :o

Aint seen any of the brother fight, are they any good?

Any other boxing brothers?

No, canelo is the only good one. The Charlo brothers are probably the best now. All time it is probably the Marquez brothers.

I always forget the gibbons brothers initially in these threads. They're the greatest.

It's close between then and the Marquez. The Attells are up there too.

I never rated Monte too highly. Though I may just overlook him. So many old timers with better results than I know of.

I agree but as brothers, holding the titles simultaneously at that time is impressive. He wasn't in Abes class but still, they were fighting for 40 rounds etc. He could fight. I'd have them fourth or thereabouts after Marquez, Gibbons and Spinks.

Mark Ramsey and Paul Denton. Both Aba champs as amateurs, and both turned over and became journeymen as pros.
