Luke Watkins seemed a really nice young bloke.
Re: Selby card on Spike/C5
Loved his honest excuse about his slow start !
Re: Selby card on Spike/C5
Looks like Selby has already done 12 rounds.

theres showboating then there is plain stupidity
i think Selby thinks he's better than he is. He'll get a fright if he tries that at top level

a lot of ppl think selbys better than he is. for some reason a lot of ppl think slaps and fiddling around means ultra great boxing skills. hell get walked through at top level.

But surely they should be going for Nietes or the guy who beat Shiming he looks beatable.

Kimura is the weakest champion, but a mandatory vs Igarashi so title will change hands, likely in late November or December...and Teiken fighters only travel if they choose to usuallyNaandrew wrote:I'm not watching this until later.Boxing Prospect wrote:Higa would eat him alivejamamb wrote:a lot of ppl think selbys better than he is. for some reason a lot of ppl think slaps and fiddling around means ultra great boxing skills. hell get walked through at top level.

Just watched the Selby fight and I have two observations...
Firstly, there was too much arseing around by the pair of them and it looked like play fighting at times.
Secondly, how good is it to hear the ring announcer repeat the surnames of the fighters after they've been introduced. Proper old skool, hats off David Diamonte!
